  1. Hi! I don't know about the hunger because I felt sooo bad when I tried to rush the creamy things that I had to go back to clears for 3 days to feel better. A few suggestions: make sure you are not having more than 30 grams of Protein at a time. I was drinking Isopure (50 grams) and DYING with gas pains. It may not be connected but I felt better when I stopped. Also, strangely enough, Pepto Bismol chewable helped more with the gas than Gas X. Good luck, and it WILL get better. I know you are miserable!

  2. OOH, I am so GLAD you posted a question about Spanx because I have a question also. But first to yours: I LOVE them and wore them all the time pre surgery. I'm 5'4 and was a size 18 (208 lb.) so I wore a D and they never showed under my slacks. Just go by the chart on the back and you won't go wrong. I buy the shorts style ones and they are only around $30-35. You won't regret it!

Here's my question: When, post surgery ladies, were you able to wear your spanx again? I was banded Sept. 30 and am still too swollen. Thanks!

  3. Hi Twin, I was banded on the same day! My abdominal swelling has gone way down, but like you, I am still tender and swollen around my port site. We must be normal! Someone on this site said it takes around two weeks, so next Tuesday we should be good to go! I hope.

  4. Hi! I was banded on Sept. 30th and this site has been a Godsend as far as information and answering questions running through my mind. Thank you all so much. My question is when does the swelling go down? Is it just gas or is my body literally swollen from the surgery? Also, advice would be helpful! I feel like I would feel better physically AND emotionally if it would just go down. Thank you!
