I just saw a note you sent me some time ago. I apologize. I need to get better with the technology!

My surgery went very well. Weight loss is very consistent and good. I would like for it to be a bit faster, but I think I am unrealistic. I know that we were banded on the same day. The interesting thing to me was that I had extremly little pain and was driving and largely back to normal the next day. Perhaps I was just lucky.

I am planning to get banded in January. It will be self-pay, as my insurance would apparently rather pay for the medical costs of fatness than help me un-fat. Ah, well. It is $10K I look forward to spending.
