Just Another Day On The Band.
Same issue here...I seem to be perfect as far as my fill level but I am having to sleep sitting up. I have reflux, mostly at night and am having to jump up to throw up sometimes. I have been very good about not eating or drinking too late but am still experiencing problems ;(

Dr. James Clay Wellborn - Calling all Dr. Wellborn's patients
Has anyone else out there been banded by Dr. Wellborn? I love him and his staff! They are the key in my success. They always listen and treat me like a person not just another patient. I was banded October 2008. Weighed 200 lbs. Down to 137 with a BMI of 26. YEAH! Best decision I ever made both choosing Dr Wellborn and getting the band!

I PB alot, but I am always hungry????
Update: I did get an unfill of .5 and it has made a world of difference. I have done pretty good so far knowing where I needed to be and so forth but my band can be trickey. This tool that we have is amazing! You just have to listen to your body. Hope this helps someone else in the same boat.

"they" say I have lost enough weight..give me a break!
OMG! Thank you! I am so tired of "others" telling me I don't need to lose anymore weight. I have a goal people and I didn't go through all of this to stop 25 lbs from my goal! My doctor will let me know if there is a problem. Thanks for letting me rant!

I PB alot, but I am always hungry????
If I eat anything besides mashed potatoes, soup, chips or crackers, I PB. I am tired of not being able to get anything else down. I am scheduled for a fill tomorrow but think I need a slight unfill. I am chewing everything to mush but am pbing/throwing up about once a day. Anyone else think I need an unfill?

Kind of worried...can anyone relate?
I just got my first fill last week. 4.5 cc's in my 10 cc band. I did feel restriction for about 5 days (which my doctor said would happen). Now I don't feel that as much (because the swelling has gone down is the way he explained it). He said everyone is different but it normally takes about 3 fills to really tell the difference. I will have another fill next week. Right before Turkey day... thank goodness! I need all the help I can get!

Seriously freaking out!
I just had my first fill today (4.5 cc's in 10cc band). My Dr. told me this would happen. He said I would have great restriction for about 3 days then it would subside. He does his first 3 fills two weeks apart for this reason. Hope this helps.
