  5. Yes, early on my temperature regulation was WAY off. That adjusted for me within a few weeks. Be patient for these first few days. I started feeling semi-normal day five. My best tip is to keep moving! Walking and fluids were my only priorities outside of protein shakes and I swear to you that focus paid off for me. I walked multiple times per day, every single day. It helped give me focus and when I felt good… it was easier to treat myself with kindness and focus on recovery. Remember your “why” when it gets tough.
  6. I am a year out from surgery and burp A LOT. I can do it quietly, but it’s far more than before surgery. It’s not a nuisance or anything (at least to me).
