  1. I'm now on day three after the surgery. Not any hunger pangs. Mostly just some craving when my roomies cook something that smells absolutely awesome! But no actual hunger pangs yet. Thank you everyone for your support and comments. It definitely helps.
  2. Just got done when my gastric bypass less than 12 hours ago. On one hand it was easier than I thought, but also on the other hand , I can't even drink one ounce at once, my new stomach hates me right now. I accidentally drank 60ml water and felt downright nauseous. I will drink slower in the future. Hope everyone is doing well! I'll post more soon
  3. I was told by my nutritionist that if you're REALLY craving something that's crispy and chip-like, she suggested pork rinds since they're 99% protein. She said not to overdo it but would be a good alternative to chips and such. they're not exactly "healthy" because they're deep-fried, but are better for you than potato chips. I'm scheduled for my surgery in two days, so I'll see how I do. Currently in the pre-op liquid diet, and Boy Howdy am I missing snacks in the evening. Especially if I'm watching a show or movie. I crave that popcorn! Don't be hard on yourself. If you have a bad day that you cheated or had some sugary or high-calorie food, just think that tomorrow is a new day and a new day to be "good". Hope this helped a little.
  4. How hungry is everyone after gastric bypass surgery? One of my biggest fears is being constantly hungry since no food is actually making it through my stomach. I have a week to go before my surgery, just starting the pre-op diet tomorrow, and a bit nervous if i can make it through without feeling like I'm starving.
