I have suffered from morbid obesity my entire life. Bariatric surgery was always something I found myself interested in. Doctors always urged me to look into and get it as it would benefit me. Since my teens, I had hypertension and issues with my health even though I was all around 'healthy'. I have been prediabetic for years prior to surgery. I wanted my life back. I tried so many yo-yo diets in my life, been to countless dieticians, nutritionists and counselors. Even as a little kid in kindergarten, I was sent to have courses with the school nurse on how to be healthier. Ive constantly tried to lose weight and time and time again fail, or it come back. I would always try my best to keep weight off, and things never seemed to stick to keep it off. Bariatric surgery so far, as Im a newbie, Biliopancreatic diversion with Duodenal Switch 07/19/2023 has been the best decision ive ever made. I am sooo excited to see where my future takes me
