    I've been researching lap band for quite some time now, and truly think that this is the necessary step to making my life better than it is. I just have a few questions/comments. I know that regardless of how extrodinary a product may be, there will be some negative people or ones who it just "did not take effect" on. So, I will not let the negative comments deter me only make me more cautious and aware. My weight rose dramatically after a not so fun event happened and I've been eating my feelings ever since. Before then I played soccer, was in tap and jazz. Biggest myth about overweight people is that we're lazy slobs. NO WAY JOSE! I'm ready to start my life again, and am so blessed to have you all to share it with me. :thumbup:

    P.S. Also! Has anyone had it done in or around Orange Park/Jacksonville, FL? & what are the requirements for BCBS to get it covered? Thanks!
