I've been on puréed for the past two weeks. My physician has me doing 3-4 puréed each day 1/4 cup each. I vary between tuna, canned chicken, cottage cheese, mashed potatoes, hamburger and oatmeal. I had surgery on 11/13 and will be transitioning to soft foods Monday 12/4

I'm day 5 post op and have just now started to eat purée. I waited to have one until I got all my Protein and cleats in for the day. liquids are going down so much easier but just noticed I really have to pace myself on the purée. Feels like it gets stuck sorta

So I just got home and what’s the first thing that happens?
I vomited 😩

I had my sleeve on the 13th and my gas settled in my chest constantly. Never went anywhere else but it is basically gone now. Plenty of walking has helped it absorb

So glad to hear the update and you doing so well. It does encourage me that these twisting pains every time I take a drink will go away.

My surgery went really well. Surgeon even got me in earlier than expected that day. I've been at home since yesterday. Been working on getting my Water and food down. Haven't had any nausea or vomiting. Making sure to walk every hour or two. Getting easier for water just set a recurrent timer for 5 mins and have been taking sips every 5 mins. The gas in the shoulders feels like a pulled muscle pain to me.
