Bad taste in mouth/disgusted with good?

I had the worst time with food aversion. It took me about four months to get over it. I couldn't eat chicken, eggs, pork… I was thankfully okay with greek yogurt so that was my main source of protein. It does go away, it just takes time. You could also have what they call "keto breath". I had that and it was NASTY.

    How do you curb cravings?

Yeah, I've got an email into my nutritionist. I see my surgeon in July for my ~6 month post-op appointment. Thank you for your input, it's very helpful. My family says I'm thin enough now, and if I can make it to 150 I'd be satisfied. I workout at least 5 days a week for at least 30 minutes. Definitely need the counseling sessions, there's a lot that I need to work through eating/body positivity-wise.

    How do you curb cravings?

I wasn't given a calorie limit from my surgery team. I, myself, like to see less than 900. The rational part of my brain knows this isn't a long-term thing and isn't sustainable. The irrational part of me feels happier when it's lower. I'm currently fighting with myself.

    How do you curb cravings?

I'm currently 6 months post-op RNY and I try to limit my calories because I'm obsessed over it. (Currently working with a counselor on this.) Maybe it's why I'm craving things lately. Head hunger is a major pain.

    Stall

I didn't have a three week stall, but I'm about six months post-op now and have been teetering on 2 pounds. HOWEVER, measurements do not lie. From last month I've lost another two inches off my waist. I'm struggling mentally with progress/body/eating right now, so the inches lost are a huge help to see, but I totally feel you with the stall pain.

    How do you curb cravings?

I know I'm late to the party, but thank you for posting this. I've been CRAVING hot chocolate and I never thought about heating a protein shake up.
