About Me

In 2003 I joined the Marines, I went into bootcamp weighing in at 112. They put me on triple rations, by the time I got out I only weighed 113. After seeing war and getting out in 2005 I weighed 120.  I was drinking and smoking and doing drugs but the weight stayed the same. I quit smoking in 2007. I continued to self medicate with drugs and alcohol until 2013. I had finally broke where I was diagnosed with mental health issues and thats where the weight really begin. I gained 100 lbs on one medication alone in a year and weighed 220.  I ended up going on full disability in 2015 and 2016. After getting my benefits in 2015 I have been going to the VA for care ever since.  Fast forward to  2020 I had weighed my heaviest at 265. No matter diet or exercise I couldn't lose the weight because of all the meds I was on.  I lost weight down to 241 after experiencing health issue with eating. (Not anorexia or bulimia)  After years I'm finally stable mentally and weigh 255.  I had a gastric bypass done on April 3rd 2023. I look forward to a slimmer me and a healthy one like i was.
