:biggrin: Okay so I am SO excited!! I have been jumping through insurance hoops since Aug. and I have been approved and surgery is going to be FEB 3RD!!!! I could not be more excited/nervous. I am so excited to start my new life but, I am also so nervous because I have never had surgery!! I am also suprised that I do not have a pre-diet. I have heard people having like two weeks of liquid diets before surgery. My doctor just wants me to do a low fat, high protein diet. I hope to hear from some of yall that have surgery the same day as me or in Feb!! Goodluck to all of yall!! :thumbup:

I am doing pretty good!! REALLLLL hungry!! So ready to get a fill (March 3rd) and just pray I get some restriction! How are you doing hun??

Glad you are feeling better after your staples were taken out! I have stitches on the inside that dissolve. I go to the doctor Feb 17 for my two weeks post op appt. I only have one bandage still on and I have to say the other 4 scars look great! I am SO ready to start mushies and only a little over 2 weeks until I can get my first fill! YAY!!! How are the rest of you Feb thirders doing? lol

wow...35 lbs! that is so great girl!! I am so ready to get a fill so I can feel some restriction too! I had quite a bit for a few days after surgery but, I guess since my swelling is going down--it is kind of going away! Keep up the great work and keep it touch! xoxo

I am recovering pretty good!!! Ya I had to change my name---couldnt still have a name that seems like I had not been band yet! lol! I start mushy foods on the 17th and it could not get her quicker! How are you doing?

okay so I started work back today--been off since surgery on 2/3..it did not know as good as I had hoped-- it was okay but my port site is soooo sore right now!! I am also so ready for mushy food!!! -

Hey yall! I was also band on Feb 3. I am feeling pretty good-- I am already hating liquids and I still have 11 days on liquids lol! I am still a little sore under my left breast where the biggest incision is. I am also having problems getting in my protein. I went to GNC to see if I could find some protein bullets--but I did not see any! I would love to keep in touch with yall!! Goodluck with everything!! -

congrats to all of yall getting band today!!! I was band Tues Feb 3 and I promise you it is so much easier than any of yall could think! I was scared to death to be put to sleep and just scared of the surgery in general! I had never had surgery before... yall just relax and everything will be FINE!!! Yall update everyone as soon as yall can!! Goodluck yall!!!

oh my goodness MiFive! That is absolutely horrible! Schools seem to be taking things a little too far at times! I hope everything gets cleared up quickly!

I am also doing better today!! I think I have got almost all the gas out of me. I got to go to some full liquids today! I have had a 1/2 cup of my protein shake and a pudding cup. It was GREAT! ha! I am glad to read that all of us are doing farely well!! Mimi you are right--the big step is over-surgery- but now we have lots of baby steps to get to our goal!! Let's please try to keep in touch! I like to see how people are doing that got it done at the same time as me! How much walking have yall done?

hey yall! I am feeling okay-- I am having some gas pains and just sore. I am mostly just uncomfortable. It is not as nearly painful as I though it would be! Keep us updated on how all yall are doing.

I cannot believe in less than 24 hours I will be in Bandland!! haha!! I have to be at the hospital at 10:00 am and surgery will be around 11:30!! Good luck to yall being band tomorrow and also to everyone else on their upcoming surgeries!! Lets keep each other posted please!!!
