    I MADE IT TO GOAL!

Thank you, everyone! I would do this 1000 times over. I feel amazing in every area of my life
  3. Yes! My purse fits nicely in the chair with me. And the dog can lay next to me in the arm chair.
  4. Does anyone have porphyria? Specifically , acute intermittent porphyria. My doctor is testing me for this genetic condition. What's interesting is one of the triggers is low calorie high protein diet. I was reading for people who have it, it can lay dormant until triggered. It seems like , looking back through my life, I had flares. But whatever is going on now, is not fun.

    Porphyria?

That's funny. If this is what I have it's a genetic condition. I don't see how it would explain vampires though... Lol

    goal achieved!

Nice!! Congratulations! I've changed my goal twice. I have 4 lbs to go to get to my current goal and I'm 9 months out as well. I don't think I want to loose any more than that. It's been a heck of a ride I'm so glad I got on. My life has changed so much
  7. I need to get mine resized. I don't have a clue what ring size I'm down to. I just know, I'm scared my wedding ring will fall off, especially when my hands are cold. Just a thought, you could use the stones from your wedding ring to have a new ring made.

    May 2023 surgeries

Thank you! Loose skin is so different for everyone. For me, it's there, but manageable. If I were to elect for surgery, I'd do my arms and breasts. The boobs... Gone. Gone. Gone. But everywhere has been touched in some way with loose skin in various degrees. My husband has been so incredibly supportive and don't mind it .. or so he says. It easily hides under clothes and if I need a bit extra support, I wear a tummy control body suit. Here's a couple other pictures. I'm on the right in the light grey dress. The green tank top pictures are from January 1 and I've lost more since then. I hope this helps ease some anxieties concerning surgery. But keep in mind loose skin varies greatly between people. And the amount you loose varies greatly based on how closely you follow your program. Wishing you all the best!

    May 2023 surgeries

I have met and surpassed 2 goals (original goal 160, 2 goal was 150). I have 5 lbs to go to get to my current goal of 140. I have lost a total 117lbs from my heaviest and went from a US size 18 to a US size 4/6. It has been a crazy rollercoaster ride, but one I'd do again in a heartbeat. My life/health has changed so much.

    Pain after surgery?

Nicely done. I'm down 114lbs since April 17th... 99lbs since surgery on May 1, 2023. I have 8lbs to get to my goal of 140. It has been quite the journey.

    Ever changing bra size

Ladies, how'd you navigate the ever changing bra size? Just cheap bras until things normalize? Sports bras?
  13. I still have about 12 lbs to goal, but I'm pretty happy so far. 110lbs GONE! SW 262 size 18 CW 152 size 6 GW 140
  14. Is anyone willing to share before and after pictures before plastics. I'm worried about saggy skin and what I'm willing to live with. I know everyone is different and there are many factors at play. Thanks [emoji4]
  15. 😆 Good problems. I love taking something off the rack and it fir.

    Ever changing bra size

The upper top bit is awful. There is literally nothing there. I could probably fit my fist in there. I too wear full coverage. Everything else doesn't help. Still no regrets though.
  17. Has anyone had issues with Roux Limb Syndrome? I've been having awful cramping in my upper abdominal area (especially after eating certain foods). They've done CT, upper endoscopy, and ultrasound. They have found any causes of the pain. The GI doctor mentioned Roux Limb as a possibility. I can't find much that lays it out in simple terms. I don't believe this is dumping.

    Roux Limb Syndrome

I'll call the surgeon's office after Christmas weekend to see if they can shed some light. My GI doctor is out as well. Yesterday was so bad and lasted way longer than it normally does.

    Ever changing bra size

Ok ladies, I'm almost to goal. The boobs are sad and saggy. What recommendations, other than surgery, do you suggest. I've tried a few that are more sports bra like, but I don't like the band that comes around the upper abdominal area. It bunches and is uncomfortable. I need something that will lift and round them out. I went to Dillard's 3ish months ago, and they sized me at a 36DDD (US size), I was dumbfounded because all that's left is skin and glands (there is literally nothing left). The 36 band is too big now, and it's hard to find anything in a 34 DDD/DD that is comfortable or carried in store. I would love to eventually get my breast done, but until then, how can I make them look normal under clothes. My husband, bless him, is so supportive of my sad, saggy breasts. Thanks!
