  1. 30 minutes swimming yesterday. Today raining...boohoo!
  2. I personally would not lie or try to cheat the system because insurance fraud is against the law. I also do not cheat on my taxes. I thought I was not a candidate for surgery because I was not 100 pounds over weight. When my Doctor told me I was a candidate, I checked my insurance company and found out that I would need 2 co-morbidities for my insurance to pay. Since I knew I only had 1 co-morbidity, I didn't bother to attempt to file with insurance. I accepted the fact that if I wanted it done I had to pay for it...so I did.
  3. Hot Tea to open myself up so my meds won't come back up on me. I then take Fiber Choice, Max Strength Antacid for Calcium and my Flinstone Vitamin. Then Low Carb chocolate Slim Fast while I put on my make-up and fix my hair. Then I eat thinned Cinnamon Weight Control oatmeal with one sweet n low packet. I love me some oatmeal in the morning. I use to not eat Breakfast in the morning at all, so this is a total turn around for me. I feel so much better spreading my food out through the day and my metabolism has awaken from the coma I had it in for years. My sleeping patterns has also changed since I have been banded! I use to force myself to roll out of bed at 10:00 am then stay up until 1 or 2 in the morning. Now I wake up at 8:00 am ready to get up, and I usually am ready to head to bed no later then 11:00 pm. Has anyone else noticed a sleeping pattern change since banding?

I like to knit and quilt, but only in the winter time. It gets too hot here to have something sitting in my lap in the summer.

  21. NSV for me Saturday! My Mom and I went to Kohl's to look at clothes for her. She was wanting some capri pants. I told her I bought some on sale there in size 14 petite. She said that is the same size she wears. I took her over to the petite department and showed her the capris. She took two pair in the dressing room to try on. She came out and said they are too small I need the non-petite. """I am officially smaller then my mom!""" WooHoo!

My cats love to chase them lizzards! One of my cats will eat them. I have a funny story about them... I was living in Shiner, Texas AKA Shiner Bock, in a 1940's rent house. It was almost completely covered in vines and other shrubbery. Actually quit beautiful. I decided to get out my BBQ grill for the first time since moving. The only place there was an outside light was on the back driveway, so that is where I put my grill. I would have to walk half way around the outside of the house to get from the kitchen to the grill. I made about three trips when I noticed there was another outside door that would be closer. I had never opened this door so the door and the screen were locked from the inside. I went inside, quickly unlocked the door then quickly unlocked the screen door and started out the door. Just as I got the door open about 20 of those green lizzards fell right on my head. I am not afraid of lizzards, but when a herd of them suddenly fall on your head you scream and flap your arms trying to get them off of you. Probably the grossest thing was when the screen door slammed shut behind me it smushed another couple of dozen in the door frame. After I calmed down, I went around the house then into the house and locked those doors back with the lizzards still hanging in the screen door. I never opened that door again!
  24. OK got serious today - 30 minutes pool exercises.
