Hi BG, thanks for the note. My fill/unfill is set for Dec 16, with his holidays and my travel that is the soonest I could get in. I'm really tight in the mornings, til about mid afternoon, then things pass a little easier, but not much. Now, last night I had a bit of my turkey chili and 1 oz of cheddar and all was well! Probably going to be just right by the 16 and need nothing! An unfill is on my mind though, thanks for the kind words, you are rocking the band! Take care.

Hi leslie, things are going really well here, over 30 gone now since my highest weight before surgery. Had my 2nd fill and things are tight and probably a little too restricted. I need to check in at the drs and see if things are right with me...I'm loving the losses, but probably shouldn't have this heartburn-y feeling for no reason! Hi Leslie, well, its been more than a week now, right? I'm sure you are well on the road to recovered and feeling good. I am looking forward to my second fill on Wednesday and can't wait for more restriction. I know I am eating less, but not always the right things. I've almost tackled the water with meals so that is a step in the right direction. I'm starting a more formal exercise regime today too, so I'm working on the areas I've been remiss. Thanks for the note. I'm still waiting on my first fill, on 9/30 and gosh I'm hungry all the time. I think getting fit before 50 is going to be a stretch now, my birthday is in January, but I'll be healthier and that's a great start! I'm happy to be 'on my way to healthy' as a goal, i'll work on the thin along the way!

Hi, I'm your age and we started out around the same weight. I got banded 2 weeks ago and would enjoy comparing notes. How are you doing now? I'm hoping this bandster hell ends soon! Hi girl, IT IS DONE! Boston on board and I"m a little sore, but doing ok so far. My throatis the worst for wear, from the tube in my mouth for the surgery. I'm just drinking what I can, water and a little protein drink and half of a yogurt so far. Have a great weekend, talk to you soon. K

Hey Kathy, thanks for the note. I'm getting my band on Thursday, Aug 27. I start my liquids at the end of the week. I'm very ready! How was your weight loss, I see your posts and follow your progress also. Keep up the good work and I'll let you know how I'm doing after banding! Take care.

Date Alert...Aug 27! She started in September and I just wanted to cry some more. Got her backed up to the 27th and I'll take it! My girls are moving into their own apartment that weekend, so i'll have to supervise from afar! hehehee..I'm good at that anyway. Just going to take it one day at a time and feeling much better. Sure hope this pneumonia is cleared up and I can proceed. Have a great Friday!

I have pnuemonia and can't get banded on the 20th. Takes two weeks to clear up and I don't have enough time prior to that. Waiting for the dr office to call and try to set up a new date. I'll keep you posted, still VERY bummed, but the tears have stopped. Silver lining...only did 3 1/2 days of liquids when I found out so at least it wasn't surgery day and the whole 2 weeks would be a do over! I just don't know how I'm going to reschedule all my work to accomodate another date. But, I'M WORTH IT and they will just have to deal! talk to you soon.

Where in Texas are you? I'm in the Dallas area and will be banded on July 20 at Baylor Grapevine. Where was your surgery. It was good to hear that you are recovering quickly as I'm only going to take a week off and was hoping that would be enough! Sounds like it will! Have a good day and stay in!

How was the trip? Hope it was good, it was so nice weatherwise in LA, but I know Vegas is not as cool. Hope you are a big winner!

I'm a dirt track afficionado also. We normally would be there tonight, but with the torrential rains this week, we are too waterlogged to race. I only watch with my BF, but we do have our favorites and his good buddy and the buddy's neice race mini stocks. What makes you a dirt track diva?

Wow, I"m Kathi also! I stumble into the friends thingy, I'll look around again and try to befriend you.

I am all done, I start the pre-op diet 2 weeks prior to July 20 or the 6th it seems. I started quite some time ago, last Aug and made my first appt in Sept. I've done all the required stuff and my insurance is paying. I'm sooo excited and can't wait. I'm 49 and need to be healthier too, so I can live long and torture my girls long into their adulthood!
