Hi Beena! Have you had your band put in yet? I also heard stories about people who have died due to complications with the band but I figured the same as you. If the last 20 years haven't killed me it will eventually without the band anyway. I am happy that I had it done and am working on my weight loss now. I hope eveything goes well for you. Good Luck!
  2. Congrats! I had my surgery on Aug 11th and the first few days were painful. Its kind of like making up for all o f those crunches I failed to do before hand. But each day has gotten better and now I am 1 week and 1 day out of surgery and I feel great. Tomorrow I go back to work! Just remember to take one day at a time. I also suggest chrushing up those pain pills. They taste horrible but go down easier and work just the same.Ask your doctor about that alternative. Good luck!
  3. I have found that of I eat too much it acts the same as really bad acid reflux. It may be that you are eating too much. Also watch out eating and drinking. If you drink before the 30 minute wait time is up that can cause the same symptoms as acid reflux or at least that is what I am finding. Good luck!
  4. :tt1:Hi everyone! My name is Julie and I just had my surgery this tuesday. I am so excited! I have already lost 12.5 pounds and its still coming off. I am not hungry that much and I haven't thrown up yet. But my husband is wonderful and is keeping track of what I eat, how much and when so that helps alot. I am still sore from my surgery but not nearly as much as I was right after surgery! I think that everyday gets a little bit better for me. I am so glad that I had this done! I wish all of you as much success as I am having right now!:biggrin2:
