Yes I dont think I know of a style or body goal...
I want to be safe and know that I will be in good hands.
I just want to get rid of the excess skin and find the body that lurks underneath.
But also, balling on a budget lol

i dont think it is fair to cast your own opinion or feeling of contentness onto her..
both of you have different outlooks and thats okay - you shouldnt shame her for it.

check with your office first and see what you have already paid for. examply my dietician and mental health is included for life.
My checks up to 13 months is included.
and then i would have them run your insurance and see what coverage you have to stay with them, if not, they can refer you to someone that has coverage.

I get pushback on my medical team for almost everything.
And your team seems to be in the odd group here.. most teams push for 4-6 small meals a day...? Its really hard to only eat 3-6 ounces, only 3 times, and be at 1200 calories?
I eat 5ish times a day, each meal being 150-300 calories, and a half cup per meal.

I am aware that it is normal and its the loss of fat but dang.
i have tried an egg crate cushion, a donut butt coyx or however its spelled cushion. Ive tried them on top of each both ways.
The only smallest relief I get is if I set at an angle, on my hip, with my ankle under me to keep me tilted. But this puts my foot/leg to sleep.
I have similar pain in my husbands truck, or sitting in my car longer than 3 hrs.
I can't change my office chair bc work requires all of our chairs to look identical.
    HELPPPP.

Not really. When it was really bad I drank Gatorade zero or fit daily. Now it’s the worst when I get up from laying down so I make sure to sit on the edge of the bed/couch for a minute or two before standing up.

its very unfortunate that fat-phobia is very prevalent in the medical field. I have had friends that have had OBGYN appts coded as weight consults and their insurance denied the visits, even though the visit was birth control and the doctor commented on weight...

I agree so much with this. I really think my dietician isn't thinking this through and I feel like 1300-1500 is probably where my basal rate is and that isnt not going to let me get any where weight loss wise

my salt intake has always been limited because my mother was restricted sodium per her doctors for various medical conditions, so we still use salt free Condiments and seasonings. I probably could add more salt in for sure

So I don't use sugar in anything. I dont drink coffee, all of my sugar literally comes from greek yogurt, fairlife milk, ect. I don't use sugar.
I just wish I could figure out what food to add because she thinks my body is in starvation and thats why I need to bump them

    hello -
I have been stalled since 3/23.
My dietician wants me to up my calories. I am currently getting between 800-100 and she wants me at 1200-1500 a day.
I have no idea how to add in another 300+/- calories that are not junk food.
I eat 5x a day, plus one shake. I keep my carbs under 75 a day (under 20 per meal), fat under 60 (under 10 per meal), and sugar less than 25 for whole day, and avoid unneeded sugar (eg, sugar in milk or yogurt okay, but not sugar in skittles)
I also get well over 100 g of protien a day.

I am not working out because I am having positional lightheadedness, where my vision whites out when I go from sitting to standing randomly. I am getting 80+ ounces of Fluid a day.

    yesterdays food:
    pure protien bar
    protien shake
    greek yogurt
tuna (bumble bee quick catch, had tuna and pasta)
a fake sushi roll (avocado carrots butter lettuce crab meat and lobster chucks wrapped in a rice paper)
grilled ribs without sauce + lima Beans.

    todays meal plan:
    Quest cheddar crisps
    protien shake
    yogurt
    legendary pop tart
artisan traders 2 egg omlet cups
    ribs and lima beans

my restriction is still super strong, and i can barely get half a cup in per meal/. 6 months out from surgery. bouncing between 184-188 since 3/23

What kind of diet do they have you on? I had to do Optifast which wasnt fun.
But, def up your Fluid. It will help you be hydrated during surgery, it will help with feeling hungry right now, and it will help the headaches which are withdrawls

So you got options. But let me start with this advice, that will help you stay sane. Do not judge others journeys against your own. You will go crazy.

I finally had surgery after three attempts, I will lay out each timeline.
First surgeon, Meeting in november, decided to start program in january bc I would meet my deductible and my insurance requirements, I could be done in about 8 weeks, because all I needed was one dietician appt and a physch eval. My insurance added it as a blacklisted item when the year changed over so I didn't get it. This doctor also was heavy on sleeve, and said that bypass wasn't important and he felt was overdone.

Second. Was going to go to mexico. I filled out the only paper, and had a call with a coordinator in 48 hrs with approval. LIterally could have scheduled 2 weeks out, If I had the money in hand. I would have had a 14 day clear diet with them or else they could have gotten me in sooner, lol. Custody battle took my surgery money, so, cancelled.
    Third time the charm
My surgeon was heavy bypass. And I am glad bc in my EGD they were able to see I had silent reflux and lots of ulcers. So I needed bypass regardless.
I had my first appt May 2nd, and was given a list of requirements that my surgeon had, and another sheet with my insurance requirements. My Ins reqd a phych eval, a dietician clearance, and a recommendation letter. My surgeons office requires phych eval, 4 dietician classes to be completed 1x a week while on preop diet, 1 dietician meeting a month prior to start preop, EGD, and if needed based on medical records cardio and EKG.
I left the appt on May 2nd with my EGD appoint, that was 6 ish weeks out, mid June. I didn't understand that I was supposed to make the phych appt, so that was kinda stalled, but they sent everything to insurance for approval in mid august. I started the 1 month preop labor day weekend and had surgery Oct 3rd.

But insurance companies can require things that will make it longer, esp if they require a supervising diet.
