It was so weird... guy was a total jerk. Kicked me out of the class for being late. Was like a gestapo warden or something. And my dog was in the dream. Very weird.

PJTP: Getting ready to go to Crosby, Stills & Nash tonight at an outdoor concert! Pasta salads, deviled eggs, cucumber salad, MOJITOS, good friends... it's gonna be nice.

When us girls went, we had a buddy system. Too many of us got wasted and wandering around alone was not a good idea. Friend's niece had just turned 18, so she was upset with us for it. We told her: you don't go if you don't have someone with you all the time. Duh...dumb brat. We're in 30's to 40's and WE have a buddy system.

Nah! Nevah! Long live the irresponsible drunk-dognapping-hooligan in us all.

Here's my dose of daily happenings: I still have a job! they told us we're moving across town - and that's the worst of the news.

I will still work with Princess, but everyone else is getting split up. The bad managers here are no longer managers and Princess will be answering to a woman now. Ahh...justice.

Moving across town means a longer commute, but there are van pools. It also means every other Friday off!!! I loved that schedule when I worked there before, and have missed it!

Thank God that it's happening this way. I'll miss working with DH, but at least I can have lunch with him every other Friday. :sneaky:

I'm so happy, I'm giddy. One of the managers said, "Good, because you have been grumpy!" I'm thinking, F-You, B - you knew your job was safe, even if you're being DEMOTED. HA!

She got it wrong...I'm not grumpy I'm evil.

I'm glad that you are coming out of all of that ok. I was really scared for you and your DH. You are not evil. You just like to act that way.:thumbup:

I really hate the things that have been happening to our friends! I miss Tap! I don't want to miss Luluc! I don't like that Brandy and Glouc only come around every once in a while! It seems that one by one, all of the people that attracted me to this thread are leaving. It's not the same when all of you are gone (including the names that I didn't mention that had already left us). Why do the ignorant people have to ruin things for us! The PJTP thread is really the only reason that I come to LBT everyday. Reading about what is going on with you all is the high point of my day. It is just all so sad. I hope that all of you that have or are thinking about leaving would please come back.

That is awful! Like I said, I don't eat a lot of eggs (other than boiled put into salads), but they had never really said anything to me about being careful with eggs. I knew about stringy meats and the veggies with stalks. I hate the thought of something so simple as a hot dog causing issues. Of course, I don't buy hot dogs that have skin, but I had bought smoked sausage with skin. I have been sticking to skinless just because it was rather gross trying to chew that skin forever. I am a firm believer that this kind of stuff just happens. I guess if I could make it to the support meetings, I would hear more about this kind of stuff. I don't blame you for avoiding the eggs and bread. They say ignorance is bliss, but you now have personal knowledge of that pain. I am sorry that you went through that punkster.

Punkster-I am glad that you were able to get your fill and eat regular foods. I am confused about the eggs though. If it didn't cause you problems to eat them, what is it about eggs that make them think that caused your slip? I don't eat a lot of eggs now, but I hadn't avoided them. If this is a known problem, why haven't they told us all to not eat them?

So I got a much needed fill today - although a little suspicious that it might be a wee bit too much - I'll wade it out till monday and see. So:

PJTP...good news on the job front...

The second interview scheduled for Tuesday next week has turned into a Third interview with another of the senior staff on Monday! Now I've got back-to-back interviews with the folks in that office - I'd say they are interested.

My contact also asked for a list of specific office skill expertise - more detail than is on my resume, so I sent that over this afternoon.

Methinks this sounds good. I was also called by a friend across campus who suggested I put in for another job on that side (which I had already done, but it's nice to get the call).

Went for my lunchtime walk and got whistled at by the construction workers...

All in all, not a bad afternoon...:biggrin:

They did an EKG on me today. they will call me and let me know when I go and get the "thin needle biopsy" done. They are going to stick the needle straight through my neck into the mass. FUN, fun. Then when they know if it is benign or not then they will schedule my surgery. I didn't get any answers today because none of them are dr.s and can't answer my questions.:biggrin:

I have found that breakfast food isn't appealing. I eat cheese or drink a slim fast low carb. I don't like Protein Shakes. The taste kills me. I sometimes eat cream of wheat, but that isn't the greatest for staying with you. I have just found that I will eat whatever is available as opposed to "breakfast" food. How sad am I?

I am so glad to hear from all of you! I think we should be proud of what we have done. I know that I wanted to be further along at 1 year, but I think back to where I was a year ago. I was in awful place. I will admit to having body image problems (I still see me from last year when I look in the mirror), I am so glad that I had my surgery.

PJTP-I miss Tap!

I had the exploratory surgery yesterday. I had endometriosis, a uterine fibroid, and 2 large cysts on my left ovary. The doctor said he took care of everything. I am in a lot of pain though.

I hope you feel better soon. Unfortunately, I figured the pain would be pretty bad. Make sure to stay on top of your pain medicine. It is easier to control the pain than it is to stop it once it has a hold on you. Keep us posted.

Today was a really bad day for me...

~ Okay, that's just SAD. That also means that she doesn't clean. Help or no help, clean your nasty self! I don't care how big you are, wash anyway!!! Even at my mom's heaviest (she's a bypasser) she was meticulous about cleaning EVERYTHING, daily and making sure to dry thoroughly to make sure she didn't have any skin issues.

Most of my family is big, but you would never see them out unclean.

PJTP: Had a nice 4 hours by myself today. Left the house and ran a couple of errands. Then went to the nursery and bought some more herbs for a soon to be empty pot in the garden. Wandered up to the lake and went thru a couple of shops. bought a jar candle called Cinnamon Sticks! Yummm! Then wandered down to the bakery and sat with my Water and a good book. When lunch came, took my time eating while reading and enjoying the breeze. So nice!!

Now if I can just get a solid night of sleep, I'll be golden! I'm about to spike DD's water to get her to sleep thru the frickin' night! Haven't had a decent night in well over a week!

I told DH the other day that I just wanted to go rent a hotel room for the night so I can sleep! LOL!

Okay, out of water. Need to go refill. BBL.

I know! It was awful! One of the nurses did get sick. KC, I am sure you know what they had to do to all of that infected part. I couldn't stomach it.

I have spoken via posts and PM with this person before. To be honest I always thought some things just didn't add up with her. I found her a little odd to say the least and just discontinued conversation with her.

That being said, she was always a very nice person and she really was sincere when one needed motivating. Of course though Beth you are right. It's not good to pose other pictures and claim it is yourself, and I'm almost feeling embarrassed for her.

And I seen someone say good job Beth on the scale victory - so I'll say the same. :thumbup: Kickin butt!!

I had never spoken with her, but I did notice the picture a few days ago looking at the before and after pics. I thought wow! I hope I can look like that. Knowing what I know now, I guess I can.
