  1. people are inherently evil. period. We debated this in college. I just think some people are better at going against the evil than others.

    Is Global Warning A Hoax!

The thing is, what is this "blind panic"? Is it the fact that people do want to start cleaning up the planet and cutting emisssions and reducing the use of fossil fuels? Maybe its not blind panic but a, "whoa hey, we might actually need to do something"? Again, if it is a blind panic, and we later find out as we are floating around on our boats, that this is a natural warming trend, are the changes people want to make bad? Can people stay off of the party line and the "Al Gore said" and just try to save the environment????? I heard a quote by a preacher the other day, "If the devil is saved what will all the evanglists do then?"

Cosmo Magazine article on the band

The thing about morphine, for me, is that it does not one darn thing for pain. Just makes me dizzy, cranky, talk about weird crap thats not there and sleep. Once I got off of the morphine and on to a pill, for the life of me, right now, not sure which one.. I was ALOT better! After about 3 days, I stopped taking the prescription pain med during the day and went to the liquid tyeleno. By the end of the week, I wasnt taking anything but the prescription at night. By about 10 days(?) I wasnt taking anything

You Guys Are NOT Going To Believe This!

Carlene.. the more I read about this.. the more I feel sorry for this guy. I guess I see it in another light. He was depressed, and this lady came on to him with both guns a blazin'. She pulled every, "you deserve to be happy", and "look at me help you take care of your wife" and more line she could throw at him. Yea, he was still wrong for doing it, but I can see him being a weak, depressed man, looking for a way and was taken by someone who should have only been his wife's care taker. Maybe thats just me and I only want to see good in people.

    Is Global Warning A Hoax!

If the process of accepting that global warming is happening and it brings around the hybrid/alternative fuel cars, cleaner air/water/whatever... Is it a bad thing? Or is it a worse thing to say it is not true and keep letting people pollute on the basis of "its not the people's fault"?

    Is Global Warning A Hoax!

I posted the "lalala-blah blah" in an attempt to hope that this DOESN'T digress in to a "woe to the non-beliver" bashing thread. Sometimes around here, it does go there.

    Is Global Warning A Hoax!

I for one have questions for you people that "don't believe in" Global warming. Does this shirk your responsiblities from saving the environment? Does this mean that you can waste gas and electricity? Does this mean we shouldnt try to find alternative resources in fuel? Why waste time in arguing weither or not Global warming is happening and just find solutions to the problems of smog (really caused by cars and trucks) and the fact that fossil fuels ARE limited? Lakes and streams REALLY are polluted by industries. Is there really a point to sit here and say, "lalalala- dont believe you" or hurdle insults at each other?

    American Idol 2007

AI is a big ole joke this year. I hope Sanjaya wins. It will either cause them to change the rules on voting or kill the show. I knew that Gina would not win AI, but I thought she deserved the top 5. I've taken AI off of my Tivo with the fact that Hailey and San-gina are still there. Simon makes it very known he does not like the rockers. Funny thing is.. who has bigger album sales??? The rocker he thought deserved to go last year. Bah, humbug. Looks like my Tuesday and Weds. nites are free... what else is on?

Yup! WW counts for UHC, they took mine. Maybe others would disagree. but I say do it. Its no worse than some people who put rocks in their pockets to when they go to be weighed to jack their BMI up

    Tell Me

"Jeet yet?' Is common around here. It is: "Did you eat yet?" Proper answer is: "Nah, Janto?" Which is: "No, Do you want to?" OR: "Done et it" Which is:"I have already eaten" My favorite expression is what my Grandfather would tellme any time I asked 'why?' His response:"Cat for, to make a pair of kitten britches". This has no meaning except to confuse the child that asked 'why' in the first place.
  14. Me, I loved time out at a kid. Didnt bother me a bit. Sit down at a wall? Bah. Now if you said you were gonna give me a spankin... I changed in a hurry. My brother.. he was terrified of the time out, you could spank him and he would laugh. We each had our own hot buttons and one form of disciplin would have not worked for the other There is no one right way. Its the parents decision.
  15. What about that "sugar in the raw" stuff? I am still a splenda addict because I can not drink unsweet tea or plain water. I have to have some kind of "flavor" to it and I just dont want to add 300 more calories to my diet. I drink A LOT of decaf tea and should drink more water. Once I do get to goal, I will dump the sweetner because I do think its not good for you. However, 300 cal. is 300 cal that I am not consuming.

    You'd never know I have a band...

Call your insurance and make sure that you can not have a fill with out paying. I had a fill under my 90 day period and it was to the ins comp "included in surgery" and could be done. I didnt have to pay anything but the copay

I need Help to Help my wife with her Big 0's

I just read how you were working in the lawn to do something that she has wanted the lawn to have for quite sometime now. I don't know how Tina will react, but I would LOVE it!!!!!! Im also the woman that has no problem in getting home gizmo's. (ie. new washer, vacuum, blender) So long as that new gizmo is 1000x's better than what I have. Yes, I asked for a Dyson vacuum for Christmas, but I didnt get it. I did get a blender for my b-day last year. I would just be beyond words if I came home to my lawn having some work that I wanted done to it. But thats me, and if Tina thinks remotely like that.. consider B-day present cared for. On to the medical issues. I dont know what to say or how offer advice. I will keep you in my prayers and offer up the fact that I know people that have MS that do have long and productive lives.

  25. Lables on stuff kill me. On my curling iron: "Do not place heated device in to any body cavity." On a bucket: "Do not place head in bucket filled with water, drowning my occur." You know that someone had to sue these people based on "they didnt tell me it could happen". I belive the rise of easy high limit credit available has led us down the path of "easy money lawsuits"
