  1. I work 10 hour days so I ordered some 5 ounce reusable bottles to be able to prepare my meals for the days after surgery while still doing liquid. I have also started trying to get used to sugar free yogurt. So far chobani zero greek yogurt is a doable option. Don’t forget you are allowed sugar free popsicles as well!

  3. Let’s all try to keep up with each other and motivate each other!
  4. Do you mind me asking where you are from? I would love to have someone close to home doing this together! I know it is a long shot but even so we can still help motivate each other!!!
  5. Keep me updated on how yours goes!!
  6. I told people after my insurance approval. I did all my appointments with missing as little work as possible. I was terrified that my insurance would reject me for a number of reasons so I didn’t want to make a big deal about it in case it didn’t happen. As soon as it the approval came in and the surgery was scheduled I let the happy dance begin. There will be a spectrum of reactions. Mine ranged from support to not understanding to down right disgust that I would even consider surgery for this. You just have to keep your head up and remember you are doing this for you, your health and your family… not them… who cares what they think? They sure don’t ask for your opinion when they make a life changing decision. Besides, they don’t pay your bills so they are irrelevant in this. You got this!
  7. Hi guys! My name is Samantha and I am new to the site. My sleeve surgery is scheduled for September 12,2022! I am excited and nervous at the same time! My support system is kind of lacking due to no significant other and one child being away at college. The only one left with me is my wild child and there is no telling how much help she will be! I say that with the most love possible. She is amazing but tends to act before thinking? So who wants to saddle up together and help support each other through this???
