My date is also August 16, for a gastric bypass. I will also have my hernia repaired at that time. I don't envy you having to go back to school so quickly, hopefully you'll have no effects and will have your energy up.

Good for you! I've ordered my bariatric Vitamins, pre-surgery drinks, Protein Powder and drinks. I'm getting nervous, too. I'll probably be second-guessing myself up to the last minute!
