Hi everyone they were finally able to perform surgery. I was on the table and cut open on july 11th and surgery was stopped because my liver was too large. I was put on a new diet to shrink my liver and finally made it through on august 2nd. My recovery time is going to take longer because they had to do a few larger incisions to get it done and had to use staples to close me up... I do believe I found something worse than labor... I just have to remind myself its going to be worth it in the long run. I was moved up to full fluid diet the day after and seems well. Boy this pain is kicking my butt any ideas that can help relieve some of it. I was given 7 oxycodone to come home with so saving them for bedtime only. So my 1st surgery attempt didn't go well. They opened me up and had to stop the surgery because my liver was too large. (July 11th) I started my liver shrinking diet earlier than expected. So as you guys know I wasnt able to have my surgery yesterday but tge surgeon wants to try again!! I was worried but she is shoiting for august 1st or 2nd. I am glad we are in a small enough area to be able to get in again so soon. Sent from my LM-G900 using BariatricPal mobile app

I am really down today. Was scheduled for surgery today and went through almost the whole process, only to wake up and find out they couldnt operate because my liver was to large. I am scheduled for surgery tomorrow 7-11-22. Im nervous and excited. Its been a long road. This is the biggest I have ever been. I started out at close to 370 lbs and after learning how to eat healthy and what to eat I lost 16 lbs since December. I left a photo of now and hope to share my journey.
