  1. Congratulations, JD. I had to smile at your NSV (Non Scale Victory) because I opened a drawer this AM and it was full of belts I just can't use!!! Keep up the good work!!! Mimi
  2. Same with me-new scars near old scars, no problems with scar tissue. Mimi
  3. My friend used him and has been very pleased so far.
  4. Hi, Racheal. Welcome. Where and who is doing your band? I am in Columbia and was done by Dr Antonetti at the Riverside group. I am almost 6 weeks out and will get my first adjustment/fill Thursday coming. Mimi
  5. That is so cool!!!! Your onederland picture!!!
  6. My surgeon insisted on staples, too, except for over the biggest incision over the port. Made no sense to me that he would glue a huge incision but staple the little ones!!! Oh, well, it is a done deal now. Mimi
  7. I take various size pills, including a big vitamin and calcium and have no problems. I am 4 wks out and have no restriction, though. I will have to reassess after I get a fill. Good luck! Mimi
  8. Munger, you have to be at least 100 lbs overwt for Tricare. I don't think you are missing it by much. Find out exactly why they are turning you down, you have the rquisite co morbity. Best wishes. Oh, there are several tricare threads here.
  9. Jill, thanks for sharing your experience. My fill (first) isn't til Nov 20th, but I have been concerned because my port is right under my incision too, and my area is still tender. Sorry you didn't get as much fill as you wanted. I suspect I will be feeling the same way. Good luck with your next fill. Mimi
  10. I think you forgot to BREATHE!!!!! You will do fine. Congratulations. Mimi
  11. Well, yours turned out so well, I am not going to get implants, just the lift. I am a tube sock D and being a B is just fine with me. Mimi PS I hope you post more pictures in a few weeks as healing progresses. I would love pretty bras and no underwire someday!!!
  12. Lori, thank you so much for posting your pictures. And congratulations on your exceptional weight loss. I love your Boobies-did you get implants, too, or just a lift?
  13. Congratulations, Mfinney. Who is your doc? Mine is Dr Antonetti.
  14. The Syntrax Nectars at GNC/Vitamin Shoppe have very little smell. When I get smelly powders I use a travel mug and put the top on before drinking. This helps some.
  15. Alex, it is crawling very slowly now.
  16. Welcome Bgirl. Read all the posts you can and you will learn lots. Mimi
  17. I love the PS stories and pictures-very motivating. Good luck on your journey and take lots of pictures. Mimi
  18. Renewedhope, you are a wonderful inspiration. Can't wait to see more pictures and posts. Mimi
  19. Yes, I can see the weight loss, keep up the good work!!! Mimi
  20. It's fine this AM but was an aggravation most of the weekend. Mimi
  21. Nayray, I am 2 weeks out and take 15 pills a day. We should always listen to our docs, but it is hard when there are so many different patient management theories out there. Mimi
  22. Best wishes for an easy operation and speedy recovery. Mimi
  23. I am eagerly awaiting your recovery and next posts. Mimi
  24. When I called Tricare about the code, the person didn't seem to comprehend what I was talking about, so I too would like this info if anyone has it. Mimi
