  1. Crishell, you and Jack are doing so great!! Congratulations!!! Nice to read all success stories, very motivational. Reading about the discarded sizes makes it even more real than reading about pounds gone. Mimi
  2. Wonderful pictures, Maggie. You are sparkling!!! Mimi
  3. Sassy, I am sorry you had to go through that and then to start over. I hope you feel better soon and heal fast. Mimi
  4. Thanks for the info, Karen, I wrote it down so I won't forget. Mimi
  5. I would like to know more about the acuinfusor-like what medicine it contains and where is the medicine going? It sounds wonderful. Mimi
  6. Maggie, please try again with the pics, I would love to see them. Mimi
  7. Salome, it was important to me that you posted. I thought I was the only one with raging hunger. I found your theory intriguing and hope more ppl post about their hunger. I am not going to post my fall from grace because I don't care to be on the receiving end of RM's constant scolding. Please keep posting. Mimi
  8. Karey, you are wonderful to share your life. It has been great to see your progress. Your body is looking superb. Mimi
  9. Tricare doesn't require a diet, just to meet the wt requirements.
  10. I had my band 10/7 and my BP was low like yours for about a week, then gradually came up to a better level. Don't get up too fast!!!! Mimi
  11. WOW, you look great. Thanks for sharing the photo's. Mimi
  12. That is a great idea! I bought a 32 oz mug at Walmart and only have to fill it twice, so it is easy to keep track. Strangely, it is easier for me to keep up with my water drinking at work than at home. Mimi
  13. My docs say 2 days of clear liquids, then 2 days of full liquids, then 2 days of soft. They are very conservative!!!
  14. Karen, you are awesome. Thank you so much for the pictures. Mimi
  15. tbines, Joy1 had to play chase with Dr Tribble, also, but not for as long as you are. Why don't you PM her for advice?
  16. You are lucky you have a microwave and your own refrigerator!!! I was faced with the same dilemma as you and ended up just taking 2 Slimfast to work. Yuck, but no decisions to be made. Good luck. Mimi
  17. Heather, I am so sorry for your pain. I always enjoy your posts and was sad to see you in such distress. I agree with Tracy about talking directly to the doctor who can override the nurse's decision. Please keep posting about how you are doing. Mimi
  18. Welcome to Bandland, CStauble!!!!!! And I hope your recovery continues as it started. Mimi
  19. My nutritionist had pudding and yogurt on the full liquid stage. THANK GOD!!!!!!! Mimi
  20. Hi, MonkeyBand. We are in a similar situation and I was banded on 10/7. We started off about the same weight and I, too, am having a lot of port pain, I wore a bra for several hours today and couldn't wait to get it off. I went to full liquids late yesterday. I am continuing my protein drinks but adding pureed soup and pudding and yogurt. I also only lost 2 pounds so far and now that the cals have gone up with full liquids am afraid I will gain. My nutritionist says 1 week of clear liquids, 2 week of full liquids, then 2 weeks of soft, fork tender food then whatever feels good. There are many other plans listed on the board, so if your doc gave you no specifics, pick one that seems reasonable and doable. Good luck. Mimi
  21. I know what you mean, BB, no flack from me!!!! I moved to full liquids 12 hours early and finally slept through the night. I was ready to chew someone's arm off!!!! My band date was 10/7. Mimi
  22. WOW, very interesting. Thanks for posting. Mimi
  23. You are so funny!!! I am day 6 of clear liquids and I have NO idea why I haven't broken down because I am RAVENOUS!!!! Mimi
  24. Do you have Tricare Prime or Tricare Standard? Are the Docs in Network or out of network? I have Tricare Standard and the docs are not in Network so I am paying about what you have quoted. Mimi
  25. Very Happy B'day, and many more. Thanks for LBT, I love it. Mimi
