  1. I hear you, Wanna, I am going for an unfill Thursday but don't know how much to have taken out. Mimi
  2. Good job, Christine!!! Best wishes on your continued success. Mimi
  3. I am sorry your son has health issues, it is a wonderful thing that you can keep him with you and help take care of him. I have a friend that has been paying monthly on a storage shed rental for many years.....I told her to sort the stuff, get rid of it and move on. If she hasn't needed the stuff in all these years she probably doesn't need it!!!! Now you, you had a need to find all that cleaning equipment, LOL!!! A nice small utility box will be wonderful...can't build up stuff!!!! What is the next mission? Glad you are continuing to heal. Mimi
  4. I really must advise you to call your doc's office tomorrow. It is not normal to have to take heartburn medicine that often. You might have any number of problems brewing. Best wishes, Mimi
  5. Probably most of us have gone through the same thing. Some of it is head hunger and boredom, as well as real hunger. It is important to follow the doctor's diet as the other posters said. Best wishes, Mimi
  6. Congratulations, Lucy, you have done so well!!! Welcome to the forum. Are you going to have any Plastic/Reconstructive Surgery? Mimi
  7. Those are very high calorie and not so high protein. Walmart has Adkins and EAS Advantage. Do a search, there are several threads with recommendations on protein drinks. Mimi
  8. Wow, SK, that is some different experiences. The contrasts are remarkable. That music, alone, would have been enough to have me run screaming from the office. I was most impressed with Doc #1 asking for mammo-I was surprised that mine never did. I had one on my own a month before the surgery. Thanks for posting your experiences. Mimi
  9. Yay, Wanna!!!!! 9 days and counting for me!!!!! I hope they answer all your questions ahead of time!!!! It is part of the fun of planning!!! They didn't give me an extra vest.....I switched to a sports bra while I washed the one I came home in. Mimi
  10. I agree it is a lot of food and I don't know how ppl do it with good restriction. I have at least 2 shakes a day, too, but have to watch the calorie content because I like Adkins shakes. Mimi
  11. I agree it is HWY Robbery!!!!!! Mimi
  12. Congratulations, Chele, on your restriction and self restraint!!!!! Mimi
  13. What a chili story and a Non scale victory X 2!!!! Ordering what was good for you and enjoying yourself in the mirrors.......Good for you!!!! Mimi
  14. Leigha, that is exactly it, LOL!!!! Mimi
  15. OMG, what a story!!! I am glad you have no side effects from the run and could actually do it without thinking!!! Kenya Chowder, indeed. Every time I go out my doors it is a challenge to keep the 3 I have inside. They really love to escape, no idea of the consequences of getting hit by a car, etc!!!! Thanks for the updated pictures. You are really looking good!!!! Those little bits will heal in no time. You have a nice hourglass figure!!! Mimi
  16. Sue, the compression vest hooked up the front then zipped over the hooks. It had velcro shoulder straps and was a bit like a long line bra with no cups. I think I am describing a straight jacket, LOL!!!!! Mimi
  17. BD, yours is the first post I have read where a band and Bypass were involved. I hope you post often and keep us informed about your journey. Good luck, Mimi
  18. I had lazer treatments, $6000 worth during my wt loss journey. I do believe it helped tighten up my face and neck and diminished some scarring and wrinkles. I just looked like I was in the sun too long, I never had any bad side effects. There are different levels of chemical peel and that may be what you are looking for. I would have a consult with a couple of dermatologists, explain the results you want and see what they recommend. Laser is very expensive and you need 2-4 treatments over a several month period. It did not give me the spectacular results I was hoping for, but then again I think I had unrealistic expectations. Best wishes, Mimi
  19. LOL, they do slide right on down, don't they? My theory is that they are easily liquified and go right through the pouch opening. Mimi
  20. I am glad you got diagnosed and there is a fix. You will be more comfortable when it is taken care of. Congratulations on your wt loss. Mimi
  21. Monica...go get a fill, the heck with his statistics. Why should you struggle to lose 15 pounds when a fill would help. Please think about it. Mimi
  22. What an offer----I accept!!!!! No serial killers, please, LOL!!!! Mimi
  23. There is no other practice near you? That stinks, having to wait. Mimi
  24. Wanna, you have legitimate questions and your PS office should be able to answer them exactly. I am pretty sure no underwire will be recommended for quite a while. I wore the compression vest they put me in for 2 weeks then went to Walmart for the Front hooking sports bras, and made them very snug. You will be surprised how high and round you will be for the first few weeks. Some PS want you to wear a bra 24/7 so check on that, too. I am so happy for you. I had the lift 1/4/10 without implants. Sometimes I wish I got them but most of the time I am OK w/o them. I am happy to not be a 34 long anymore!!!!! Mimi
  25. Welcome to Bandland!!!!!! Congratulations!! Mimi
