I am going to call doctor in the morning but today is my third day post op and i just started to notice a lil blood in my urine..I read up on it and it said some causes can be from certain medications like blood thinners, aspirin and penicilin...They did give me blood thinners twice while in the hospital but has anyone else experience this..thanks

I got my surgery two days ago and I have been sleeping on my back. After while that starts to get uncomfortable because I am not use to sleeping that way the whole nite. Does any one now if its alright to sleep on my side only being two days post op? Thanks!!

like a gassey pressure like i'm full, but its in my mid upper chest. I will call my doctor first thing in the morning. Thanks so much

Got my surgery last nite..The pain is not as bad as I thought just muscle soreness in my stomach and a lot of pressure in my mid to upper chest.. But other than that my surgery went great, can't wait to see results -
Tommorow is my surgery date and im soooo scared especially cause different family members are just as worried and saying when u wake up u can always change ur mind.....my boyfriend is so upset something may happen

Hi guys, It is 8 days til my surgery and I am getting very nervous. How bad is the pain the first few hours after and next day after surgery:crying:

My doctor does not require us to do a preop diet. When I ask they said no, there facility does not require that. I've been reading all the posting that say it is better to have your liver shrink b4 surgery. Well my surgery is on friday April 3. Do u think from today til friday is enough time to reduce the size of my liver some? And if so what suggestions do u have as far as meals or meal replacement. Thanks for ur help

HOPEFUL 41411, I know what you mean.. Now I did tell most of my close family but I did not tell my grandmom b/c she is very old fashion. Now my friends is a nurse and I would always tell her things about me getting the banded but I stopped a few weeks ago becasue she is very opinionated and a lil discouraging..So i know how you feel. -
