  4. Thanks ...... I have been putting ice on my stomach to help the wounds lol that's what I call them. I'm not really hungry.......I just think I should be able to grab something and I can't, it's weird.....but good at the same time. I guess by the 4th day I should feel better then I do now......I haven't climb my stairs yet or got a shower. I am waiting until tomorrow to do so. I am eating jello and I did have some nonfat plain yogurt, with splenda and it went down and felt good...just a shot glass. I am use to grabbing an apple or some blueberries, almonds and just munching on that and I can't. I think I didn't realize how much I ate though the day......now I am learning. This will be all good in the long run.....I just can't wait now until I go back and see if I lost anything and how I am doing. What are you eating?

Goodmoring! It sounds like you and I are going to be in the same boat together. My surgery was Monday, I weighed in at 216, and I'm from the same general area. I hope we start feeling better soon. I must admit that my discomfort is much better today and I am sleeping better. My Dr. gave me liquid Tylenol with codein which I stopped taking the second day. I now take just Tylenol. Alot of sitting around and rest for now which I am not used to. Be good to yourself during these days and focus on the outcome ahead!
  6. Good moring all! I am a new poster (although I have been lurking here for awhile). After much thought and investigation, I had my band put on Monday, August 4th! It hurts but is getting much better daily (even by the hour). I did not stay in hospital, and was able to sleep in my own bed that first night. I have been trying to stick to the liquid diet (mostly Isopure), but sometimes it is difficult. Getting hungry (I think) As someone else stated here.....hungry and full at the same time....I know what that is! Can't wait to progress to the next stage. I also feel SO tired! I hope that changes as I was planning on going in to work tomorrow for a few hours. I also hope all this is worth it. I hate feeling like this!
