  1. Only commenting because this page had the most views & apparently Im the only brave one..LMAO I'l check the link..& good luck..
  2. Good luck to you, whatever you decide! There are some great stories on this site. I am new this week, but have already gained a world of knowledge! You should probably start with your PCP first & see if you are even a candidate for surgery & start doing the classes, etc. It is quite a process. But knowledge is everything!! Best of luck!
  3. Hello everyone. My name is Amy & I have just strated the process. I have been to one overview class & had orientation on Sunday. Pending approval, I hope to get a call to see the surgeon within 2 weeks. I am nervous, excited & unsure of what to expect. The thought of surgery TERRIFIES me. I am definetly not the person who is looking for a 'quick fix' I am looking for something that will change my lifestyle. And help me to enjoy a more quality life. I tend to say I am overweight by 'default' LOL Because I do eat healthy & workout. I didn't get this way on junk food, or laziness. So that alone makes me wonder if this will even work for me. I weighed in on Sunday at 277.7...OMG I can't believe I am typing that *ponders backspacing* We were told at orientation that we needed to find a support group before our surgeon visit. My initial thought was I didn't need to. However with a 1/2 way not so sure not so supportive boyfriend, I think it is best. I already found comfort in reading many stories on this site. I guess that's all for now!! Good luck to all! Amy
