Nope, can't access it from my desktop either. My husband said i might have to post a certain number of things here before i'm allowed to add items to my profile.
So, be patient with all us newbies. We are all a work in progress
FOUND IT!
It is difficult to find where to to fill out the side bar info. When i filled in my profile information, the side bar info was there but i wasn't able to click into any of it. I finally found it somewhere else.
Where did you find it? I've been trying to figure out how to fill it in and have looked everywhere I can think of.

I've been sleeping 12+ hours since I got home, making up for the sleep a person doesn't get in the hospital. The incision itchies are almost gone and my abdomen is looking better every day. Adhesive reactions are a pain! I have a follow up with my surgeons nurse practitioner on Tuesday and the dietitian on Wednesday. I've lost about 9 pounds so far which is a major surprise considering all the IV fluids and steroids I had. Saturday the poop damn broke loose and that's where I've lost most of the weight.
Fluids have been no problem and I'm now able to start thickening up some liquids. I've totally blended Soups and they tasted sooooooooo good. I'm totally over the taste of Protein Drinks so I've been doing a fair amount of Fairlife skim milk, yummy!
I go back to work tomorrow evening. I do some light janitorial work and tomorrow night's account only takes about 1-1.5 hours.

Glad to hear you are doing better. Good luck with going back to work!

First couple of days were rough for me too. Now, day 5, it's not bad. Matter of fact, the other day I walked into a place that sells Cinnabon, the scent of which usually gets my mouth watering, instead it made me slightly nauseous. I'm drinking tons of Water though. The first few days this was to manage hunger, now it's just to keep hydrated. The low calories have triggered a couple of Migraines though.

Had my original surgery 21 years ago. Scheduled for revision on the 21st. Also in the midst of the pre-op diet. Lost 7lbs already lol I hate that my Dr wants me logging my weight every day.

I'm on day 2 as well. I am allowed one small meal a day though, so it's rough but I know it could be worse. I'm drinking a lot of Water and crystal light when I feel hungry. We've got this!

has anyone ran into issues 3 weeks or less getting a negative result?
Sorry. Not even sure my office does a test. Although they did say, not quitting could cancel the surgery

So sorry about the complications. You are in the right place though, where they can figure out a plan to get you on the mend! Thinking of you!

I'm just finishing up getting the house (wasn't expecting this word to be a curse word) and span, laundry done, meals prepped for hubs, and everything ready for when I come home. Tonight we will drive to Ann Arbor and stay at the Holiday Inn so that we don't have any issues in the morning.
Let the games begin!
Good luck!

Day 1 of the modified liquid diet. Going to have to watch my blood sugars. I've got to see how they react to Breakfast and lunch being Protein Drinks and a low carb/high Protein dinner. Right now they were too low to need to take insulin when I'm not sure how they are going to react to the liquid meal. I'm not complaining though lol!

Pay attention to the warning signs they tell you. My surgeon gave me a big magnet with instructions of what to do. I did just that and called the on call surgeon, who sent me to the ER and ordered a CT scan.
On the plus side, no more GERD!

I'm trusting God to take care of me, but in still a little nervous. I'll let you know how everything goes, when i can. I'm at 224 lbs and am looking forward to seeing that number go down significantly and many of my aches and pains to get much better or go away completely. Please, everyone, keep me in your prayers
Good luck to you today!

1. shakes and calorie free drinks only
2. shakes and a pre set menu with pre set serving sizing which you could eat up to 6 times a day.
Both approx. 800 cals a day.
I definitely choose option 2! It's not much but I feel like chewing something would help. I start Monday. Wish me luck!
I start Monday as well. Breakfast and lunch shakes, dinner can either be a shake or 3-4 oz of a lean Protein and 1 cup veggies.

You can do it!
I feel lucky, I'm allowed to have 1 light meal a day instead of a shake if I want.

I hope it does resolve itself for you! I want to keep up with how you are doing.
