I haven't talked to you in a while. How are you doing? I see you lost 35lbs! Way to go! I just got banded last Wednesday 9/24/08. I am still a little sore but I am enjoying my sugar free fat free pudding! I lost a total of 45lbs before surgery and another 8lbs after surgery. So far I am at a total of 53lbs down! I am really excited to get rid of the rest. Do you have a lot of excess skin with your weightloss? Keep in touch!

ok well i have some questions.i was bannded on 7-21-08 im going for my first fill on sept 2,now can i eat the day be4,can i eat that morning or do i have 2 get the fill on an empty stomach.also with the band can i eat pasta,i had some the other day but im not sure if u are supposed to.does it mess up the band?i ate it with no problom but just not sure if it will mess up the band.:smile:thank u -

well i went for my 1 month check up with the dr.i lost 30 pounds so far.i also found out that i have the relize band not lap-band i have no idea what the differance is so if anybody does please let me know.so the doc said i lost 30 pounds and that i dont really need a fill but it was up to me.so i said that i would like a fill cause i can eat just about anything with no restriction.so i go sept 2.wish me luck :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: -

ok im a little mad here.here i am not eating anything but my protien shakes and some broccli im on stage 3 of my diet (starting 2day).i just weighed my self and gaind a half of a pound.im walking everyday for 30 min. why am i not loosing weight.my dr told me i may gain a little weight be4 i go for my first fill.god i cant wait for that fill....has anybody else gain weight b4 there 1st fill,or is it just me........what am i doing wrong let me know so i can fix it,now my stage 3 of the diet is......egg beaters,scrambled eggs,egg whites,baby food meats,tuna fish,canned salmon,non fat cottage cheese,mashed tofu,flaky fish,pureed bean Soups fruits-cabbed fruit,unsweetened applesauce,mashed bananas,soft fruits it says 2 blend this stuff it should be pureed,but i have no restriction and i can eat whatever...should i still blend this stuff......help me if u can

hey claudia i 2 am from nj......i had a bmi of 35 and i was approved i got banded on 7-21-08 ive lost 23 pounds since then and i have no regrets.were in nj u from and what dr.are u going to

thats about right after my surgery i was told 1oz every half hour.i was also told that i need at least 48oz of liquid a day not 64 -

i had my surgery 7-21-08 everything went well.the 1st week i was on clear liquids.here i am on my 2nd week and the dr.told me to start phase 2 of my diet wich is liquids(48)oz. 60-70grams of protien shakes,mashed potatos........is there anything else i can have besides mashed patatos any suggestions...... -
