Don't get discouraged. I had my surgery on November 8th and I'm basically in the same situation. My saving grace is orange juice without the sugar. For some reason I'm able to drink more of that than the water. In fact water taste so nasty to me now and it hurts even when I take a gulp. Also, pretty much anything I eat gives me the foamies (I learned what that was from this site
My Doctor just said to hang in there and don't worry about my food intake, but to try and least get some protein in. So, I take really small bites of a protien bar at a time and beef sticks.
