I bought an ice cream machine (because ice cream goes down well and some days I can't eat much of anything) and started making my own with lf soy milk, Protein Powder, some type of Torani sf Syrup and equal. It is the best, low calorie, almost low carb and sugar free... for the peanut butter one, I added 2 tblspoons PB2, equal, french vanilla torani syrup, splash real vanilla and a handfull sf chocolate chips... yum
exercise---1 hr at the gym, started back with my trainer

I can't believe what everyone can eat. I have not been able to keep any thing down. I was banded in Jan of 07. For 7 months it was as if I had no band. I could eat anything and actually gained weight. Then suddenly in Aug of 07 I started to feel full. By Dec. I was unable to keep any food down. I have lost 90 pounds since Dec and mostly throw up everything I eat. I am basically restricted to Protein drinks and nuts. Nuts seem to stay down. Anything else I eat or drink just comes right back up. I even throw up my protein drinks sometimes. It takes me over an hour to get one drink down. Needless to say I seldom eat out.I agree with confused, not being able to keep liquids down is not good. You run the risk of being dehydrated. I can do liquids and really soft food like tuna or crab salad, other things usually come right back up. I had a slight un-fill a few weeks ago because it hurt to drink and no food, absolutely none would stay down. I want to lose the weight, but not at any cost

Hi allI eneded up going to 2 emergency rooms as im over filled & cant keep ANYTHING at all down.as usual i got NO help not even from the hospital i had the banding done at.all they did was put me on a drip & gave me anti nausea meds in the drip.
They are going to see if they can get me in on wednesday.
good news is ive lost 10kgs in 2 1/2 wks.

I've been hiatous since the funeral and eating ice cream (wtf), I don't know how I managed to still lose 5lbs, but I did. Well today is a new day, and I'm back on track. Who needs to wait until Monday to start over....

l- 1/2 cup tuna with 9 or 10 soy chips (these aren't bad if you need a little crunch in your life)
d- will be crab cake topped with lemon yogurt dill sauce, and homemade sugar free low carb vanilla ice cream

Thanks everyone for your condolences and prayers! You guys are the best.
I love to cook, so I'll keep the recipes coming. I still enjoy it eventhough I can only eat about 1/2 cup of it. That's why I don't waste my 1/2 cup on anything I don't enjoy eating.

TrueDiva what is cioppinno? I always see that on your posts and wondered what it is....I am still trying to get back on track with my posting but since my eating is so crazy I always forget. I am still struggling with whether or not to get an unfill when I go to my appointment tomorrow. Somedays I can eat a bear! other days I can't eat a thing! Most meats and breads I cannot eat but Pasta, rice, and all junk food goes down just fine.
Saturday: I went to macaroni Grill with my cousin. Had two bites of my pasta and started feeling like it would come back up so I boxed it. I nibbled on a very tiny piece of bread. Later that night went to a sports bar and had a frozen drink and 1 cheese stick - almost PD'd the cheese stick but I managed to hold it down.
Sunday:
I was having a hard day yesterday but here is what I managed to get down:
B: nothing
L: Nibbled on 1 cup of Penne Rustica from Macaroni grill (penne pasta with grilled chicken in a creamy parmeasean sauce). It took me 2.5 hours to eat it but it stayed down.
D: 1 fried chicken drummette, 5 green Beans, two small fork fulls of cheesy rice.... PB
S: mini cup of Ben and Jerry's cookie dough ice cream - stayed down!
S2: couple of hershey bar squares -- PB! (couldnt believe that!)
I'm still losing slowly but tired of the unpredictability of my eating so I'm confused....help!?:biggrin:
Cioppino is italian fish stew (made with chicken broth, clam juice, stewed tomatoes, white wine, italian seasoning, garlic, onion, and any kind of seafood). When my band was a little looser, I would use shrimp, salmon and scallops. Now I'm too tight for shrimp and scallops so I just use the salmon . You can use anything you like

Georgia Girl-sorry to hear about your FIL. I hope he is better soon.I don't get it, Breakfast doesn't want to go down, but I am starving this evening. So strange.

B-coffee w/torani Syrup (no food)
L-KFC chicken strips, mashed potatoes (I am really killing myself with the carbs this week)
D1-crab salad (crab, green peas, celery, red onion)
D2-bowl rice crispies w/milk
I don't think I could handle a fill. I am going to have to get the carbs in order. Eating them is causing me to crave them even more.
Ever since I was banded I haven't been able to eat breakfast before 11 am (it just doesn't like food early in the morning). I always drink my breakfast.

yesterday -b - slice watermelon; 3/4 cherry carbmaster yogurt (on the fence on the taste; will try another flavor this am)
l- 3 coconut shrimp, w/spicy cabbage slaw
s- half cucumber w/takzini yogurt dip
d- blt wrap (hummus/bacon,tomato/lettuce/avocado) & few soy chips
I tried the carbmaster, uhhhhh, the taste, not so much! Got a slight un-fill today .2 cc's (it was hard to drink Water after the third day) I feel much better.
