Hey you! Thanks for checking in! I've lost touch with people on here after being banded...kinda the opposite of what I thought would happen. ANYWAYS.. Things are good. Banded on 4/16 lost 20 lbs pre surgery 20 lbs post so far. Got my first fill yesterday and MAN was THAT weird! I'm ok with a lot of foods, it's funny I get bored with eating before I am full. (which isn't good since i get hungry faster) I'm supposed to go for 3 meals a day with small protein snacks in between if needed, that's odd for me since i've always ate 5 or so small meals ... anywho I hope to get the hang of things, I'm keeping up on it though, never letting myself slip!! All it takes is one time!!

hey! thanks for your encouragement! i am now banded! woo! clear liquids end tonight and tomorrow i get to have clam chowder broth and sugar free fudgecicles!! woo! im looking forward to my protein shakes!

Last night the paid got worse before it got better this morning went pretty well. its funny trying to decifer if the stomach is growling or if its gas haha!!

My name is Stephanie, I saw your photo on the main page. I skimmed thru your photo album and WOW you look amazing! I've got my date it's 4/16 and super excited but super scared. I was wondering if you have any advice reg. post surgery diet, Surgery day, eating tips and how it has effected you emotionally. If you struggled w. emotional eating did it help w. that? I am a recovering binger.

Hola! I'm back and thoughts are pending regarding the band but I hope I make a decision soon! If my Husband was more supportive I might have already done it by now!

Thanks for the encouragement I've wanted this for a long time and just want to do it right, Tuesday I've got my pre-op appointment and will hopefully be given a surgery date!

That's super sucky! about Turkey day but it's not a real Holiday without a little emotional scarring right? ha ha! I used to have my Septum and lip pierced but ended up taking them out (they didn't like me). Family didn't like it either but it's what we're supposed to do at our age! YEAH BUDDY!! If you ever need someone to talk to you know where to find me Don't consider going off the plan a little "being bad" otherwise you'll end up punishing yourself. It's OK, and get back up but ya know, it's WAY easier said then done! lol Good luck !!

I've got my pre-op appointment on Tuesday then if all goes well ( I hope! ) then I'll pick a date! Do you know what they do at the pre-op?

AWESOME NEWS!! I couldn't hold it in any longer and told the Hubby I was approved and I'm going through with it. He said he doesn't like it but he will support me anyways I'M SO EXCITED! Thanks for the great advice! Hope you are havin' fun workin! ;P
