Not too sure about this, the best place is the main board but keep us posted, yup I didn't get my op approved either, same thing,, re-mortgage, but don't regret it one bit, it is true, you only have on life to live....... Was worried about this also, let me know what u find out, I don't know what I can claim on my Southern Cross, my op was never approved but $150 a time to see my surgeon for an unfill/fill is ridiculous........anyone know what we can claim and what we can't! Hi all, I am fine, I was just being a drama queen, this dating and trying to keep the self-esteem up when I have to keep selling myself, is just like a endless job interview, but hehe I am ok today.............I have got out Dr Phils book and reading his advice about dating , it is quite interesting. I have been a little worrried about whether I have stretched my band/pouch, how would I know, I think I also need a small unfill as I am struggling with food.........but yeah I am still here and today is a good day, thanx for the advice Julie, I have taken something for years, I think a lot of people on this site probably have, but I wish there was a pill for shyness and confidence, oh well, that is all, I am good and hope you all are too! I have been banded a year by Dr Fris ( wow can't believe how fast a year has gone), I live in Auckland on the North Shore, am 36, female. I have currently lost 33 kgs, it was nice to see a kiwi thread on here as I haven't looked on this site for 2 months and tried a kiwi thread a year ago without much response. I spend a lot of time in the April Bandits '06 and they are my lifeline, this is a great site, I tried a kiwi one but everyone seemed so much older. Hello all, here I am lurking in the background, I just needed a break, no offense to anyone........but I have come to realise I need support and where better to go.........daa daah!!!! I have lost 32 kg, around 70 + poounds, that is good for me as I wasn't too overweight to begin with but enough to qualify for the surgery (self -paid ouch) so I am excited but sick of explaining to people at work about my weight loss, I work with different people every day, for those who don't know ie our new friends from April I am a Flight Attendant in New Zealand, so work with many pretty girls and here they are asking me for advice, don't wanna share though so it is still hard!!! Decided 2007 was the time to go back dating, met someone great, but it wasn't to be, broke my heart, hence a bit of time off here, trying to find and understand myself, have been speed-dating no-one specifically on the horizon but will keep trying, have enjoyed reading all your posts, glad our new friends are here to share, love you all and have been reading about your updates Love Amourette XX

Good luck to you all, Amourette here, aka Fiona, don't get too carried away with all these things you think you need, you just need some good old plain soup, apple juice, protein powder is good, but I don't think many of you will use it for long! Just make sure your enviroment is comfy, good dvd's, good visitors, some good books and mental support , that is all really, some get pain after, some don't, I am a big woose and I survived it all!!! good luck to you all, it is so exciting! Have something else to share.........quite big for me personally, today set out for a normal (?) flight at 4 am today for Sydney, not a good day to start with, with one crew member having to return home because his child has been rushed to hospital..... we made it to Sydney, then 1 hour out of Sydney we had bad news about turning back to Sydney which as I hope you realise is a big deal, something had happened in flight deck with smoke, pilots on oxygens masks and the threat of the flight deck windowscreen not lasting until landing, it was likely gong to break and then who knows what. If those pilots go then you are stuffed?! For those who know me better, and what I do, I have to tell you I freaked (whoops there goes everyone's faith in FA's), I only say that 'cos I few things weren't adding up, that made me suspicious! and i felt so uneasy, but couldn't show it. I am proud to say I survived it, though burst into tears when i got home, I have been flying over 13 years with no problems.......... My message here today is big shock for me after 13 years to have such an emergency drill. My oint is please tell people you love them everday flashed between my ages, I knew I was ok, well my 3 yr old niece would be, but what is hard now is the airline play it down,,,,,,,,,,,I have arrived home thinking man, who do you talk to...........Any nice messaged would be appreciated in the next days, I knew one day I had to face itm it wasn't suppose to be, would love some messages otherwise I will hide under my duvet? Heheheh:guess .

I;m sorry to hear about your experience, did the doctor know what exactly the obstruction, was it just a bit of chicken not chewed enough, interested to know as things like this scare me with travelling so much..........I didn't mean to be snarky regarding love lifes the other week, I posted to say so but I lost the wireless connection so it never went thru', I was just feeling sorry for myself hahaha!
