Had my surgery 10/6, the few days were rough. I did not any pain mediation home. I'm feeling great but sure do miss coffee with sugar.

My biggest challenge is drinking enough Water. It's difficult to drink every 15 minutes.

Anyone interested in being part of buddy support group that meets via zoom or Fbook?

Stay the course, follow the plan and take Vitamins!!

Hello, I had the sleeve in October and am looking to get a buddy group together. Who knows if people are interested we can create a Zoom meeting.

Hi, I'm 4 weeks post op, had the sleeve at PennMed in NJ.

I have Cigna and had a quick approval. The doctors office has to have all of the prerequisite properly documented. Also,a big help was a letter of medical necessity from my primary. The letter included my weight for 5 years and current health issues impacted by weight.

Get familiar with your specific plan, call. CIGNA & ask questions. Follow up every 2 weeks until you get approved. Stay positive &Good luck.

I'm from NJ, but I've moved to the Pocono's. I'm from JC / Plainfield. My Dr is Dr Teleo he's really good. pretty hard at 1st but I like that. He did an amazing job. My sx was on Jan 28,2020. I just had my 7mnth f/u & I lost 50lbs. Not sure if u want to travel up this way bcuz the drive back will b no fun after the sx. Especially w the road bumps. Good luck on finding ur choice. The adventure will b awesome! I'm loving my new body & the way my clothes fit... awesome I tell u..lol I didn't hv choices when I went to my surgeon. I saw him & went w him. I should hv done what ur doing & looked around... Now for my Tummy Tuck I will get a referral from him to c if I'm comfortable w the Dr & am willing to travel to find the right Dr for my LAST surgery. GOOD LUCK W yours....
