Hi there! Had my surgery 10/6, the few days were rough. I did not any pain mediation home. I'm feeling great but sure do miss coffee with sugar. My biggest challenge is drinking enough water. It's difficult to drink every 15 minutes. Anyone interested in being part of buddy support group that meets via zoom or Fbook? Stay the course, follow the plan and take Vitamins!!

Hello, I had the sleeve in October and am looking to get a buddy group together. Who knows if people are interested we can create a Zoom meeting. Its a new journey that I'm glad to be taking!

Hi, I'm 4 weeks post op, had the sleeve at PennMed in NJ. I have Cigna and had a quick approval. The doctors office has to have all of the prerequisite properly documented. Also,a big help was a letter of medical necessity from my primary. The letter included my weight for 5 years and current health issues impacted by weight. Get familiar with your specific plan, call. CIGNA & ask questions. Follow up every 2 weeks until you get approved. Stay positive &Good luck.
