Hey!!! I was taking Lexapro for anxiety. It didn't go well with me, and it made me depressed. After I put on the weight I was sure enough depressed. Major weight gain is normally not a significant side effect of Lexapro. They think I may have thyroid problems, too, which can make meds act crazy! I am no longer on Lexapro. I am taking Wellbutrin, and it had been okay. How are you?

Hey! You asked me if I have sagging skin or boobs. Well, that is my goal pic that I have as my profile pic. I had a few traumatic experiences and anti-depressants packed on the weight. I am worried about my arms sagging. I have had my boobs done, so I may have to have a lift. I am just happy to be losing finally!!!!!!! I have always had big arms, until I get down to 125, and then it goes away. But, now that I am older, I am not sure how it will turn out!!!! Good luck!!!! When were you banded?

The fills aren't too bad, to me. They are well worth it. The second fill was uncomfortable, but it is about finding your comfort zone. I don't eat to get full, I eat to be satisfied. The fills aren't bad at all. Once you get used to the band and the fills, it seems like a miracle! Thanks!

Thanks for the compliment! My profile pic is my goal weight. I was drugged, sexually assaulted, and then 2 mos. later was robbed in my car at gun point! I put on about 40 lbs. and then got on anti-depressants. 60 lbs. in 2 mos!!!! I am so happy to be banded. I felt like there was no way out. I was self-destructing, and not wanting to be noticed. The good Lord looked out for me, and I am now in a much better place! Good luck to you! Let me know how it goes!!! You will be so happy! I have lost 20 lbs. so far, but I just got my second fill and can tell a huge difference!!! I am dropping weight.You are just a year older than me! We can both encourage each other easily! Hello blue! I don't know if you have heard my story, but the pic is my goal. It was taken about 4 years ago. I was drugged, sexually assaulted, and then 2 mos. later I was robbed at gunpoint in my car. I put on 40 lbs. and then got on anti depressants. I then put on 60 lbs. in 2 mos. I didn't want to be noticed. Then, I got miserable. I feel young but like I can't dance and do the things I used to. Luckily, I have had my second fill as of Tuesday. Things are going great! I have lost 20 lbs. and I am sure the weight will come off more quickly. This second fill has made a big difference! How about you and your weight loss?

I really like the Lap-Band. I just got my second fill, and it is amazing to see how much difference one fill makes. I think it is great, because it is easily adjustable. Good luck in your weight loss journey! What is the vertical sleeve? I havent' heard of it before. I will say that Lap-Band has been awesome for my husband and I both!
