Belly still very swollen, staying home from work for the 3rd day tomorrow. Hoping to see my dr because I don't think this is typical.

My belly is so swollen from the port replacement that I look like I have an alien about to burst out of it. Coooooolllll

Tomorrow is port and tubing replacement day, and not a moment too soon either! I want my working band back already!

ok, so 8cc in Friday, can't eat or drink anything. Sat, no restriction and I can eat anything. Today I'm tighter and am getting full easily. I know it's leaking but the band is still messing with me!

Scheduled for a port and tubing replacement on the 3rd of March. Hope this is it and the leak is fixed once and for all.

Been exercising every day for a week and I am *aching*. I think this old bird needs to stretch more!

2nd day of liquids. This isn't as hard as I thought it would be. I guess I have the right motivation!

liquid diet started today. Wasn't going to until after the weekend, but I'm sick of having no restriction and I want it fixed.

Post-endoscopy sore throat and loss of voice = staying home sick from work. Might go pound the pavement for 30 mins or so though. Just coz I can't work doesn't mean I can't jog!

So it turns out there is no erosion at all, but I do have a small prolapse and a leak for sure. Follow up appt in March to determine next steps, but I'm keeping my band, and for that I'm grateful!

Well my gastroendoscopy is tomorrow. I'll finally know if I have an erosion or a leak. But whatever it is, I will manage. Because if nothing else, the band has taught me about eating well, exercising, hunger signals and learning to love myself. Nothing is going to change that.

Went to see my dr because lately I have not really been feeling my band at all, and found out that I only have 6cc in my band when I should have had 8.5cc. Dr thinks it's either a leak or erosion. Going in next week for a gastroendoscopy to check for erosion. Hoping it's just a leak instead.

70 min bike ride this morning on hilly terrain in very hot weather. Gonna do NOTHING today but veg out now.

Have kicked off exercising formally again by doing a 30 min power walk every lunchtime. Feels good to be sweating it up again! Even if it's only a little!

Joined a corporate challenge to log in the most exercise as a company per employee. I guess I'm going to start exercising regularly again!

Going to get my bicycle reassembled and serviced - I miss riding and the weather in Melbourne is perfect for it!
