It's my birthday tomorrow! 43 and happier than I have been than any other time in my whole life.

Down 8lbs since surgery. However, tomorrow I start on solids...

Have been given the rest of the week off to recover. I feel better but not 100% so NOT complaining...

Home after band replacement. Sore and sleeping a lot. But happy it's over. 2 weeks of liquids now.

Band replacement surgery this morning. Leaving in 10 mins. Wish me luck!

36 hours til I go in for band replacement. SUPER excited!

Decided that despite being told I don't need to do one, I will do a modified pre-op diet ahead of band replacement surgery. I figure it will get my head back into the game!

13 days to band replacement. SO EXCITED to be rejoining the band life!

Surgery moved closer to the 27th April! Wooohooo! And the best part, it means I'll be recovering while my son is here on holiday. And the 2nd best part? No liquid diet

Ok, full band replacement now scheduled on the 11th May, and I have to stay overnight so will be in the hospital for my birthday. So, please, universe, for my birthday, can I now have a fully functioning lapband back? Please? Third time's the charm, right?

well full band replacement has been pushed back at least a couple of months now I've started with a new client. Plus I'm taking a week off with this broken foot so there can't be any more delays. This sucks all round...

Just as my tailbone has healed, I've broken my foot. I give up.

I need to start exercising again. Need the clearance to go skating, damnit!

6.6lbs loss in 4 weeks with a non-functioning band. YEAH, BOY! Soooooooooo much harder without the band though!

24 hours after my fill to 9cc and I'm eating pretty normally again. Damnit!

Went to the dr today, got 9cc in my 10cc band and feeling it. I know it won't last but it's easier than struggling with hunger. Lost another 0.5cc in 12 days..

This is why support is important. Since my partner has joined me in trying to lose weight, I've lost for the first time without the band's help. But it's slooooow going in comparison to having the band working!

After 2 revision ops, my band is still leaking. One year on and the only way I'm not gaining is by dieting strictly and exercising. I can't have ONE bad day or I gain. I have to decide what to do next....

Finally proved I wasn't a hypochondriac. 13 months of knowing my band wasn't working. 2 port replacement surgeries in that time, one for port replacement and the other to confirm there was no leak. Except there is a leak. 3.5mls lost in 4 months. We're back to square one.
