it's the weekend! Best two days of the week!

Been exercising every day for a week and I am *aching*. I think this old bird needs to stretch more!

Little restriction at 8.5cc, so fill on Friday to take me to 9cc in a 10cc band. Saturday, I have an emergency unfill of 3.5cc. This band can't make up it's mind.

I'm glad to hear all went well and glad to hear you've managed to get back in here. We've missed you! Funny that after all your worrying about being unfilled, you ended up losing, but I suppose that's to be expected considering the operation and the fact that you run as much as you do! It's good to have you back and posting, mate.

WTG xavier! I remember saying that you'd soon be an inspiration for others and I was right! Glad to hear you're getting the fills you need and are back on track with the weight loss. I too recently had a fill, just because my appetite was returning and I was having to work a little more than usual to maintain. But the fill did the trick and now I'm back to maintaining easily again. Always a work in progress, aren't we? Lol!

2nd revision surgery scheduled for the 23rd of August. That's twice in under 6 months. I just want it fixed.

Good luck with your band, nel! It was a lifesaver for me! I had my surgery in August 2008 and lost all my excess weight in 7 months. I've maintained now for over a year. I wish you all the success in the world!

I too did it for my kids. I have grown up kids but also have my baby who's only 4 and I'm 40 so I want to be around to see him marry and have his own kids one day.

As far as the pain of surgery, my body lift was probably an 8 out of 10, but only in the first 2 days, then it went down steadily. And I would say giving birth is a 10 out of 10 lol! The BA was easy, pain was probably around 5, and now, two weeks post sx, I'm in nearly no pain whatsoever!

Restriction has been steady the last 3 days so I am now pretty sure my dr's fixed the leak. But I think I need a small fill still. At 8.5cc in a 10cc band, I hope I'm not far off my sweet spot. Not much more room in there!

wanting to find that perfect spot that will make maintenance easy, NOT the green zone. So to fill or not to fill?

It's been a stressful day. No less so because it's now 10.20pm and I've just realised I haven't eaten anything since 11am....

Back at work after my unplanned week off and am feeling fuzzy brained and tired. And the catching up I have to do is daunting. But my band is fixed, so that's my silver lining!

Lipo was yesterday but I can't see the results coz they bundled me up with dressings like a sumo wrestler!! Dr's appt today, hoping to get a look at the results.
