Yes he is! Though I suspect even he's in a little bit of awe at how well this came out. It's exactly what I wanted too!

You look amazing as always. Next time I see another 'does the lapband really work?' post, I'm posting a link to this pic!

I have lol! 39lbs at the highest but I lost some so I'm about 24lbs up from my stable weight now.
I don't really even mind if I don't lose anymore. I just don't want to gain anymore.

It's looking for another host. I think you're safe though, you're too far. Oh hang on, it's an ALIEN, it can do all sorts of things!

Thanks! Though it turns out it was the tattoo that likely caused my leak. The tubing had green ink on it when it was removed from me, which likely meant the tattoo needle pierced the tubing when I got the tattoo, causing the leak. Moral of the story: don't get tattooed over your port area!

Hey CT, of course I do! Checked chat to see if I could see you but you weren't around! I'll look again soon, maybe I'll catch you!

I did when I was in my losing phase - I worked up to cycling 20 miles 3 times a week. Then I got past goal and stopped 'formal' exercise, but remain active - I walk and cycle quite a lot. I probably haven't exercised formally now in 2 years.

How much does a body lift cost? Does insurance pay for any of it?
Hi, I live in Australia so it's different. My Insurance and Medicare paid for a fair chunk of it, but I can't tell you whether US insurers would cover something like that.

You look so great! But i have to be honest your ink on your arm, is just so lovely. Does this represent you and your daughter? It moved me.
aww thanks. I love that tattoo. Yes it represents my motherhood, not just for my daughter but all of my children.

Thanks mbwalker! I started at 215lbs on surgery day, but I was heavier than that beforehand. I was too scared to weigh myself though.

Thanks!

Christy, you are HOT HOT HOT!

Debbie,
I'm in Australia so sizes are a bit different, but I started at an Aus size 20 and am now a size 6/8 (a size 2 US). I worked out 3 times a week when I was losing (spin cycling 40mins each time) but don't do any structured exercise now. I just keep active everyday by walking more, running after my son, that sort of thing.
Thanks everyone for your lovely comments.

Jus thought I'd add that the jeans I wear now are a size smaller than the smallest jeans in that pic, but I don't have the bigger jeans anymore (have gone with my love to goodwill!) so can't take another picture! Lol!

WOW! That's an amazing transformation! And all in 7 months! You are an inspiration and proof that the band can work for you if you put your mind to it!
