I had a fill on May 1st and was worried because I still wasn't feeling anything...well, whammo....I finally feel restricted today. Mine seem to take 2 1/2 weeks to feel the effects. go figure. Hold on. It will work

Slow loser...me too!! I was banded 9/25/08 and lost 12 lbs in 6 weeks, then 7, then 8, then 9...still at 12 lbs on week 12! It took a long time for me to get to 20 and at 5 months I've lost 23!!! In the past, I would have given up and blown it! Not now...this is a new life for me. It will come off in its own way. All I know is that it's 23 pounds I didn't gain.

I can't wait for 6 months, 1 year, etc.

they are hard to find...and tiny little cookies...but worth it. sorry I'm too late. wahhhhh

There's a 100 Cal pack of grasshopper cookies...they taste just like the thin mints...they are a savior for me.
