  1. So I found these on Amazon. I don't know if you can find them cheaper elsewhere but I thought they would make a change from the protein shakes. They are not too bad. Somewhat gritty but not bad.
  2. I think it's mostly a mental thing for me.Nights are the hardest as you say. I did goof up this morning and I hope it won't lead to my surgery being postponed. I didn't realize how important this step is so I am going to knuckle down and get serious.
  3. I am 10 days out and REALLY struggling with this pre-op diet. 2 shakes a day and one meal. It's killing me. Last night I fell off the wagon and had crackers and Philly cream cheese and today I had a spoon full of macaroni cheese! I don't even like macaroni cheese! I have to get through the rest of this day and 9 more. Thankfully I'm not hungry right now but this is hard. If I could do this diet, I wouldn't need surgery!
  4. I'm scheduled for June 16. Doing the pre-op diet. 2nd day and it's driving me nuts mentally. I'm trying to stay busy AND positive. I've been meeting my friends outside, wearing a mask at all times because the last thing I need is to get sick before I'm "renewed!"
  5. I hear you, Mary. Today is my 2nd day and I'm struggling. I ended up making a Greek salad (no cheese) but I had to add a boiled egg to it and I don't even know if that's allowed. Approximately 12 more days to go. Having this forum helps. It's nice to know others are on the same journey. And it's going to be the best journey ever.
  6. I'm so used to stuffing my face when I'm stressed, but I'm determined to make this work. Not receiving alot of support from my husband right now. He had a heart attack in September 20 so I'm not pushing it. That's partly why I'm getting this done NOW!
  7. Yes! I am scheduled for June 16. Started the pre-op diet yesterday. Today is not going well but this has to be done. I like to put positive thoughts in my head like: in 12 days I will start my second chance at the rest of my life [emoji4]
  8. Hello [emoji4] I am scheduled for June 16. I'm very nervous (anxious) but excited. Yesterday I started the pre-op diet. It's making me even more anxious but I'm glad I found this group [emoji2]
