  1. Hi. I’m about 5 months out. I’ve lost 53 pounds. I’m kinda short so the weight looks like a huge difference on my body type. I have weeks that stall and don’t see any weight loss. So far I have been able to eat just about everything ( in small amounts) with no reactions. I do wish I was loosing weight at a faster pace but Slow progress is still progress.

Just seen a super easy recipe for cauliflower mac & cheese. It’s one head of cauliflower, a quarter cup of Greek yogurt, a half cup of cheddar cheese, salt and pepper and parsley.

as you probably guessed you just boil the cauliflower and then salt and pepper then add Greek yogurt and cheddar cheese until it’s melted and parsley on top.

I can’t wait to try this it’s some thing I can actually have on the soft food diet and I can use fat free cheese to make it even better for me.

Sounds good! How many days are you post opp?

  3. My surgery is tomorrow, I have to check in at 10am.

everything was going fine until this last week. My husband is now telling me that it’s a waste of money and I should try to loose the weight by exercising. I’ve been exercising for about a year and have lost some weight but not all of it since I had my last baby. Anyway this last week I was considering not doing the surgery anymore and I even ate some food. I haven’t ate for the last 2 days but now I’m worried If I do go tomorrow I will get cut open and not get to have the procedure.

sorry guys I’m just venting right now.

The first day of my 2 week liquid diet my daughter made cupcakes (I haven’t told her what I’m doing, other than it’s a simple procedure). I ate 3 that day. And throughout the week was so tempted. Kept dipping my finger into the frosting for a small taste til I finally told her to eat them or throw them away. She threw them away. Lucky for her she doesn’t have the sweet tooth I have!

But had surgery yesterday without any issues.

I’m glad it went good, congratulations!!
