  1. TwinMom2020
How exciting! This month is flying by! I am right there with you! I keep saying enough is enough and eat well must of the day then dinner rolls around and I am crazy! I am eating things that I wouldn’t usually even eat just to eat! I agree, it will be hard, but necessary for me as well. I’m a twin mom as well :) My two are 10 and they are nervous that they are going to starve because we won’t eat out often after my surgery lol!
Keep me posted on your journey and if you need any support just let me know :)

  2. NewMe_2021 the time is definitely flying by! I just started having those conversations with everyone. They have gone well so far. My kids (both 10) and husband have a fear or starving during all of MY stages hahaha! I keep telling myself that I need to really reduce carbs and sugar to make the ore diet easier, but I am struggling. I’m glad I’m not alone in this process!!

  3. Hi! I also have PCOS and I am going to go with the sleeve hopefully soon! My surgeon explained that for PCOS the sleeve is a better option for me  bc they remove the stomach hormones and if for some reason the sleeve doesn’t get the desired results then can always do a bypass down the road.  Something I just learned is dairy is not good for PCOS. I thought I was doing good drinking Premier Protein shakes and the dietician said to reduce dairy and do plant based Protein with almond milk fit shakes( Vega Protein Powder is sooo good) bc dairy cause inflammation and other trouble for pcos. Hopefully once you learn more and your test results come back you can make the best decision for yourself! Keep me posted on your journey! Good luck!

  4. I keep hearing about food funerals and I know before I start my 2 week liquid diet I will indulge in at least one of my favorite foods, but I’m thinking about trying a self care binge instead of food!
I think I’m going to get my hair colored, toes done, get a little sun, and maybe a massage. Whatever makes me feel good.
I have always had food in my life, but not enough focus on me! I think it would be good to start the journey in a positive way rather then think of it as an ending when it comes to the food aspect.
    Replace food with self care!?!?!
Has anyone else done this or had this kind of mind set before getting ready for surgery?

  5. So exciting! The process seems to go quickly once it gets moving along! It’s good that you have access to the Cleveland clinic! I was actually just looking into weekend getaways in Ohio! I’m about 40mins from Erie PA. I’m hoping to be scheduled for May 🤞. Keep us posted on your journey!

  6. Hi, a friend asked me how I will have energy after such a reduction of calories, sugar and nutrients. I said from Vitamins and making healthy food choices. She doesn’t seem to think that simple things like food choices and vitamins will be enough to give a person energy. I do not drink a lot of caffeinated beverages to begin with so eliminating is not an issue, but the occasional cup of coffee, Pepsi or my fav Tim Hortons Ice Cap is a nice treat for a boost. Now I am curious! How do you all get enough natural (without caffeine) energy to function with these new diet and physical changes?
