Hi, a suggestion from the dietician I seen is to reduce dairy. I thought I was doing well drinking ore-made protein shakes, but they gave a lot of dairy in them. I guess dairy can cause inflammation. She told me to try Vega protein (plant based) and almond milk. I love it! Try plant based protein! Hope this helps :)

That’s so neat that you both were able to go together! It definitely helps having an insurance company that doesn’t make this process difficult!! I am lucky to have a good insurance so far! Definitely makes the process less stressful!

Even though it seemed like forever I completed all of my requirements in 4 weeks. I had a huge list of things to do, but I got them done. Waiting on insurance approval. I am ready to get this process moving along! Was anyone else able to get the requirements done fairly quickly, but still have to wait weeks for insurance approval?

You should proud because you were honest with the psychologist and yourself! You are setting yourself up for success by being open and honest. I know right now it definitely does not seem like a positive and it is frustrating, but you will get there! So many people aren’t honest and pass the psych, but later fail bc they weren’t truthful with themselves! Your not alone! Good luck!

The plant based protein I like is the Vega vanilla protein. It isn’t gritty at all and has good taste. I haven’t tried any others yet.

I am in a very similar situation that you are in. I have pcos and high BP. I am done with my requirements just waiting in a date. I actually just asked the dietician these questions. She told me something I didn’t realize after all these years with PCOS. She said that I should try to be as dairy free as possible bc dairy causes inflammation with pcos. I was drinking premier protein shakes and she said stop bc those are dairy based. She recommended a really good plant based protein powder to mix with almond milk. Hope this help! Your not alone!
