I was sleeved by him on February 10th. He is a fantastic Dr. I had two others that went with me from Utah. He had also performed surgery on two of my other friends from Utah. There is a total of 5 of us that have used him as our surgeon. PM me. I can tell you about my experience. Three of us used the clinic and the other two used the hospital. I can fill you in on each of the different experiences. I am on Facebook on International Patient Facilitators Page on Feb 10th showing a before picture. He is not a scam. I was sleeved on 2/10 I am doing great. Had a little bit of a problem today where I got sick and threw up. I am not sure what brought it on but I think we have had a flu bug going around our house. I am trying more mushy food but think I may go back to liquids again until I feel this bug is gone. I have been in bed the majority of today. I can't wait to get back to the gym and get walking. -
Oh where did my week off go? I am returning to work tomorrow. Now my mind is running with everything that needs to get done before the end of the month. Hooray I can't go to sleep!

Drinking With A Straw

I have been wondering this same thing. I am one week out and find drinking through a straw I take smaller sips so I don't get as much air and I am able to drink a lot more. So glad I found this because I have read that we are not suppose to drink through a straw. -

Me and two others from Utah are going to Mexico on Friday February 10th to be sleeved by Dr Verboonen. I cannot wait. Getting closer and so excited. -
Today was a great day. I am 5 days out from surgery. I am home and in my own bed. I slept so good last night. I got to spend the day with the love of my life. He took me out to Chinese. (I only got soup) I am now an officially cheap date. I am down 19 pounds since the start of this journey on February 1st.
Cannot wait for the future! -

I can say it works. I am 5 days from surgery and down 19 pounds. Someone else mentioned this in another post about the relationship with food changing. I can totally agree with this. It is something that cannot be explained until you are mentally prepared and ready to make that commitment. -
Recovery Time

I had scheduled more than a week off about 10 days. I am kinda thinking that I am going to still try to keep that time off but I might go into my office on Wednesday for a few hours. I am feeling really good today but I want to take my time going back. -

So these next couple of months are going to be life changing for me. I am excited for me to start school and finish this time. I have about 1 1/2 years left to get my bachelors degree in Business Management. I also can't wait for my journey that is starting on February 10th. This is definately going to push me to places I have never been but I can do it!

We didn't realize how broken our furnace was until they installed the new one and heat actually comes out of our bedroom vent.

Oh my.. so last night my husband and I are listening to our furnace making funny noises and then the smell came. It was burning and yep.. So guess what.. Our furnace went out. SUCKY!!!! So we knew based upon our summer we were going to have to replace our AC this spring and guess what.. We are replacing our furnace now.
Can't live without heat. -

My surgery is Feb 10th and I have gone through this exact thing. So I had my coordinator get me an invoice for surgery dated January 20th. FSA will not fund the money ahead of time and I do not have the ability to pay and then get reimbursed. They funded my claim with no other forms needed. I am going on Monday to get a cashiers check for my dr. -
First night in a few years I am by myself. My husband is finally back to work and working graves. Be safe Brandon. Love ya!

Rahnava - Look at the IRS requirements. This is not considered "plastic" surgery. It is considered sugery which is covered under the guidelines from the IRS. That is why I waited until 2012 to do this surgery. -

So my surgery is set for February 10th. I have posted a couple of times because I am currently in the same situation. I was not able to front the money for the surgery and wait for FSA to pay me back. My coordinator provided me an invoice stating surgery was on January 20th. My FSA company reimburses on Friday. I am showing my money ready to fund on January 20th. This way I will have a cashiers check to take with me on the 10th. PM if you have any questions. I am using Dr Verboonen at Obesity Goodbye.
