  1. I have electric recling chairs that that is where I have been sleeping. It is the gas in my chest that is killing me. It is getting better. Las night was the first night I slept for about 5 hours straight. I am also 4 days out.
  2. We have just bought theathre seating. They are electric and that is where I have been sleeping. I am also 4 days out and last night was the first night that I slept for about 5 hours straight. My biggest issue is the gas, it is getting better but still a lot of gas in my chest.

  4. I am just 3 days post op. The hardest thing is the gas, that has almost killed me. I had jaw surgery 6 weeks ago and was on full liquids for 4 weeks and had only been on soft foods for two weeks before havingthis surgery. As of now, I feel full most of the time with just drinking water, jello, etc.... So I do not miss anything now but the gas was UNREAL!!!! I still have it, but it is much better now.
  5. I only have one pill that I need to take and I am not taking it at the moment. It is a water pill (diuretic). I am not sure if I am geting enough fluids to take it. I will wait until after my post op visit on Tuesday. The Dr. also prescribed me Zantac and I cut those into three strips and take them with warm tea. It seems to be ok. But 16 is a lot of pills to get down. I hope you figure out a solution.
  6. I am only 3 days out and I still has some gas pain but I take the Gas X Strips and Maalox. Together, these really helped me. Walking helps as well. Hope you feel better soon.
  7. I was banded on 6/18. The pain is probably the gas and I am still dealing with it. I take malox and it helps with the vomiting as well. I called my Dr and they told me it was nothing to worry about.

  9. Hi All, I had my surgey 6/18 and still fighting the gas. Day 2 post op was the worse. Like you, I feel like what have I done to myself. I do have the full feeling and I am sticking to liquids, maloxx, and Gas X. I see Mr Dr on Tuesday 6/24. I hope I feel better by then. Can wait to feel good again.
  10. I am one day post-op and gas is killing me. I've done the peppermint tea but am headed to the store for gas x and maylox. I've been walking but it sill hurts. I just wanted to thank you for all of the advice. It sue helps and I do not feel so alone.
