I am 7 days post op. Calories according to Baritastic app are around 550. My Doctor did not give me calorie goals yet. Only fluid/ Protein goals

I liked the lemon and rosemary

My surgeon said 3-5 days should be ok. Just keep it on the mild side of things...lol

Just had surgery on 2/24. Easy recovery no regrets. Following the plan to a T.

Got sleeved on 2/24. Mild discomfort day of surgery and day after. I am home now. 2 small episodes of nausea from Tylenol pills- spit up foam 1 time. Walking, not tired, getting all of my liquids in. Sneezing a lot ( not sure why). Taking Tylenol in powder form to keep pain away. No regrets. No worries.

I decreased the amount of sips I am taking in a row and the sneezing is gone.

No offense taken. I would rather sneeze than puke. Maybe I am an oddball

I am 2 days post op sleeve. I keep having a sneezing fit - 2-4 in a row when drinking. Could this be my body telling me I am full. Nose is runny too.

I had surgery on 2/24. Feeling good. No pain just mild discomfort. I threw up foam after first solid Tylenol pill but other than that doing great. Will DC home today.

Call your insurance company and check status to keep pushing it along

My surgery was 7:30 am today. Feeling great, walking laps on unit, meeting fluid goals, minimal discomfort. Hoping it stays this way.

I am on day 4 of 7 for liquid diet. Surgery is on 2/24. Down 5 more lbs. Staying on track and accountable. Trying to keep busy. So far so good. Day 7 which is Clear Liquids will be the hardest. I work that day so hope that will help distract me.

Mine sounds like the same as yours Tim C. I start tomorrow. My surgery is a day after yours. Good Luck!

I am scheduled for sleeve on 2/24. Anything advice from those who have gone through this surgery already?

I recommend you call the hospital billing department and ask what the self pay price is. I know it can be a discount compared to the insurance price.

Finally cleared for surgery on Feb 24th.
Had issue with insurance auth- had to call and get it straightened out.
Had to get a chest X-ray since I had Covid in December
The standard pre -op EKG was abnormal, so I needed a stress echo which was abnormal and then had to have a cardiac catheterization. Finally got clearance after that from the Cardiologist yesterday. Had my pre-op appt with surgeon today to review pre-op diet= 1 week liquids/ day before Clear Liquids. Nervous, but ready.
