  1. That's good. I've seen alot of people do it. Thank goodness it's not one of those 2 or 3 day fasts lol although i tried the intermentent fasting last night and tried making it til noon today but my diabetes made me light headed so i had to eat a little halo cutie orange at about 11.. so hopefully that's ok lol
  2. That's true, makes it way less daunting! I've actually started counting my calories and I'm actually staying at 1049 calories a day. And I'm starting the whole intermittent fasting thing from 8pm until noon the next day. I will definitely keep you posted! This app is so wonderful, I'm making so many new friends here?
  3. Yeah, except I have to some how hurry and get 20 lbs off in 5 months.
  4. My uncle had bought them so it didn't cost me a thing lol I just figure'd might as well give them a try since i didn't spend anything on them[emoji38]
  5. I've been doing them for 3 days so far, they are giving me more energy but can't tell yet if they're doing anything else. But I am using a carb, fat and calorie counter app I just found that's very informative so hopefully this will help me lose the weight I have to by May 6th. Fingers crossed, I'm really stressing over this!
  6. Has anyone tried keto pills before your surgery to help lose some weight? And did they help?
  7. Thanks Grady and Ms.sss
  8. @BigSue I will definitely try that calorie counter! That would be useful having a tool that makes you think about what you're eating. The intermentent fasting is where you stop eating at a certain time then don't eat til a certain time the next day right??
  9. Does anyone know if Molina/medicaid pays for a tummy tuck after doing the gastric bypass?
  10. Thank you for sharing this with me, it will help me out big time.
  11. How did everyone lose the 15 lbs before the surgery??? I could really use some ideas please!
  12. Thanks ya'll! Everybody is making me feel more at ease about the surgery and motivated to get the 15 lbs off to get it!
  13. Did you do gastric sleeve or the gastric bypass? I just got word that I was approved for the surgery and that I have to decide between the 2 them. You look amazing!
  14. Omg, I have orthopedic shoes... I hope my feet don't change after my surgery [emoji23] or that my insurance will cover a new pair lol
  15. Congratulations! I'm so doing this before and after pic too, what a fun idea! I just got told today that i qualify for the surgery so I have 6 months and 15 lbs to lose before I get my surgery. Fingers crossed that it works on me like it did for you.
  16. Hi, I'm new to this. Today I just got the call that I've been accepted into molina's bariatric program. Lots to do within the 6 month period! I'm trying to decide which surgery would be the safest way to go and less invasive gastric sleeve or gastric bypass?? Also does anyone have any tips on losing the 15 lbs required for the surgery?
