  1. Highest weight (sleeve 2017 ) 285
I only got down to 210.
Bypass revision due to GERD and regain (dec 2020) 242.
    Current weight 160.
Those are my stats. I have found that with my revision surgery, I am losing weight slowly but steadily. I’m happy with this though and I’m at my lowest I’ve ever been in my adult life. Also, my GERD is gone :)
    All the best to you

  2. For anyone who has had their gallbladder removed after their weight loss surgery, could you please let me know of your experience post op removal? I’m having my gallbladder removed next week (I’m around 8 months post op bypass) and really haven’t been given much info on what to expect pain wise, post op diet etc. just looking to hear about some personal experiences :) thanks

  3. Hi. I had gastric sleeve surgery in 2017. I went from 130kg down to 90kg, then slowly regained to 110kg. Over time I also developed GERD. I had revision surgery to gastric bypass in dec 2020. I’m happy to say that my GERD is gone completely. And weight loss has been great for me. It has been a little slower then the first time around. But happy to say I’m down to 77kg - so 13kg LOWER then I got to with the sleeve.
Slow and steady, I’m in no rush, just so happy to be on the downward trend overall.
    All the best :)

  4. So I did have revision surgery sleeve to bypass. I’ll be honest and say straight up I did have it to help with my GERD. (Which I no longer have symptoms of) however also for weight loss! My highest weight (before sleeve) was 120kg. I got down to 90kg lowest however regained back up to 110kg. I am now 6 months post revision surgery and I am now down to my lowest ever of 80kg! I am so happy with my revision surgery and am happy with my results so far. Although my loss is a little slower this time around, I am sticking to my plan and weight is consistently moving downwards. No regrets.
All the best to you :)

  5. I had the sleeve in 2017, and revised to bypass in December 2020 due to GERD and weight regain. Since the bypass in December I have lost 25kg (55 lbs). - current weight 187 lb. Weight loss for me now seems to be slower then the first time around, however I am ok with that. Since my revision I also have had NO more symptoms of GERD.
Am so happy I was able to ge this revision, weight is steadily coming off.
    Hope this helps a bit

  6. Congrats on starting your journey. I am a sleeve to bypass revision. I had my sleeve originally in early 2017 and revision to bypass in December 2020. I’m currently 28 years old now. Since my revision in December I’ve lost lost 20 kg which I’m so happy about.
I’m so looking forward to buying new clothes, being able to walk into any shop and know that I’ll be able to find my size, rather then sticking to plus size stores etc. also in regaining my confidence - which is increasing every day :)
All the best for your journey. No regrets!

  7. I’ve been so amazed by my post op experience this time around. My sleeve to bypass conversion was on the 7th December (originally was going to be a few days earlier but got postponed slightly). This time around I have had very little pain, only slight gas pain, and since coming home 2 days ago I’ve had a lot of energy. So very thankful for such an easy recovery (so far). Wishing everyone else here a speedy recovery / and good luck for upcoming surgeries!!
